TEMPTATION

We got another case while we were our. We arrived. Maura was there already with her people. They had the lady in the body bag and half way in the coroner vehicle. 

" Jane is coming with me. We have an appointment than we are going to have lunch.  We will return after we have lunch."
I handed Barry the keys and they stayed. We left. We arrived and checked in. Maura held my hand after I completed the paper work. We were called to the back. Dr. Corina DeLuca was the doctor assigned to Jane's case. We both were familiar with her . She dealt with alot of high risk pregnancies. We didn't know if I was a high risk or not. Maura just knew she was the best doctor.

"It's nice seeing you two ladies.  Maura told me she did blood test and has started you on prenatal vitamins. I reviewed your history. I see your mother is bipolar. Just because your mom is bi polar does not mean your baby is.Is the father going to be involved in this pregnancy Jane?" " No he is in the Persian Gulf and is relinquishing his parental rights. Maura and I will be married on Friday.  She will be the other parent on record. "

Dr. DeLuca had me undress from the waist down and examined me. She told us the baby looked healthy and handed us two sets of photos of our baby. We wouldn't know the gender if we wanted to for four more weeks.  She told us to make an appointment with the receptionist.  She asked me if either of us had questions. Since neither of us did. She congratulated us and left to see her next patient. I got dressed and we were in awe of the photo.   I made an appointment and we left.  We both put the photos in Maura's purse.  We decided to go eat some Mexican food which ai craving for.  Maura and my mother agreed to get up late or early in the morning to buy items I would crave for. During our lunch, we discussed names for our baby.  We agreed if it was a boy, Julian Nicholas Rizzoli. If it was a girl, Julianne Rizzoli.  We finally returned back to work. Maura told me to keep crackers in our desks with bottles of waters. I would bring crackers and bottle of waters with me when I left the precinct.  I was excited and scared at the same time.  I knew my mom and Maura would hover over me and take care of me.  We are at work working our tails off. We get a call of a robbery by the lake.  Off we went. I drove Barry and I. Korsak took another vehicle.  We arrived before Maura and her people.

"IT LOOKS LIKE THIS IS THE SERIAL KILLER AGAIN. ITS HIS MO"  SAYS Korsak. Barry, myself and Maura agreed. She told us the time of death.  It was less than hour. Korsak called alot more beat cops to help us including my brother. 
" Listen up Dr. ISLES has informed us Jane Doe has been killed less than an hour. Let's solve this case.This makes twenty six deaths. People are arming themselves and are running scared."

Korsak left with my brother.  He was mentoring him. Frankie was a studying to be a detective and would be taking it soon. Frankie's partner left on his own.  Barry and I left to see if there were cameras that captured anything. 

Korsak calls us to meet us at their location.  He found two joggers and they are scared. None of could blame then.  We were cops and were scared.  We arrived and we spoke with the witnesses which were women. Nina was going through the cctv. Between Nina and the two female joggers we had a good photo and description.  He messed up really badly.  He was limping and forgot to remove his license plate.  We had two officers take the women home and stay with them. They were students at the local College.   We all and I mean many people were enroute to his condominium.  Korsak instructed all to stay back until we arrived.  He only wanted unmarked vehicles in the area. He didn't want Jacob Jones to escape. This man had alot of tattoos that were done tastefully. He was an ex marine on dishonorable discharge for being mentally unfit after serving three tours.

We arrived along with SWAT. Korsak didn't want to give him the chance to escape.  We knew he had several guns registered to him. He was a boxer and MMA on top of anything else he has learned since being out.  We knew he was home when Frankie pretended to be a mail carrier to sign for a package. He didn't come outside but stayed inside. He was smart and we knew we would have to outsmart him. Frankie threw two cannister of smoke as well as SWAT.  We could see on the infra red screen he now had a mask on.  We had to shoot our way in. Frankie and one SWAT officer shot him in his arms and legs.  He had a flask vest on.  SWAT forced themselves in and he was arrested. 

Cavanagh and the mayor had a news conference announcing Jacob Jones the serial killer was apprehended and was locked up.  Maura was glad like the rest of us it was finally over.  In his condo,he had so many weapons that it took awhile for it to be tagged and taken to the precinct.  Maura and I left to go home.
