TEMPTATION

We woke up and took  a shower than headed down to go have breakfast at one of the local restaurants.  We both wanted to enjoy today seeing of the local charms.  We enjoyed the local cuisines.
" Maura I think you bought out several of the shops here for yourself and our loved ones."  "I wasn't that bad. I did go a little overboard.  We are newlyweds and I haven't purchased items for our loved ones as couple. "

I thought of what my wife said as we are sitting at the beach in our bikinis with a wrap over our lower bodies with a huge hat and sunglasses on. She was correct.  I stopped stating anymore on the shopping subject.  She started talking to our baby again.  We both looked up and were surprised to see Casey coming out of the water with a gorgeous woman.

I looked at Jane and saw the hurt in her eyes. The woman was gorgeous.  They were affectionate with one another. At this point he hadn't seen us. Out of all places he has to be here on the same beach.  Jane gets up and walks towards him.  I am running to catch up to her.

" Casey now I see why you gave up your parental rights on OUR UNBORN CHILD. I hope you enjoy your vacation."

He was shocked to see us. He was even caught off guard when my wife slapped him hard. Her wedding ring caught his lip and made it bleed.  He wiped his lip. The gal introduced herself.  We both were civil. She didn't know about Jane nor her carrying his child. She punched him in his stomach and he went down.
"Darlene yes I have a unborn child but it doesn't diminish my feelings since dating you for three months. Jane I should of been honest with you. I am sorry."

While he is standing up, Jane and Darlene are furious.

" Jane if you don't mind how long are you?" "Darlene I am a little over six weeks." "Casey so you were having sex with us both and not using a condom.  The two of us could have caught an std or more because the lack of you being responsible. I don't believe this happening. Jane I am not saying you have any stds."

Jane shook her head as she understood her statement.  She didn't seem offended which I was happy about. We would get her checked here while we on our honeymoon.  Of course, we wouldn't know any of the results for awhile.  This would only add more stress for Jane and the unborn child.

"Casey you are not the man I thought you were.  You want to be the father to my teenagers.  There is no way that will happen now. I can't have a man who cannot take the on the role of being a father to his unborn child. Maura I know who you are.  We were undergraduates together.  Congratulations on both of your marriage. I am assuming by your rings."

Casey eyes looked hurt.  I know I didn't give a shit and Jane I wasn't sure.

"Casey go back to the room and get your own room. I never want to see you again. I am canceling our wedding here.  I will let my family know."

She slaps him hard and it leaves a red mark. She picks up her things and walks away. Casey is definitely shocked. 

"Do you have anything to say for yourself?"  " Jane no I don't. I already apologized.  I need to go to try to get this resolved. "  " I  will let out child no one an ass hole father she has and everything that transpired here today. "

He looks down and gathers his stuff and takes off after her.
I hold Jane as she is crying now. People are looking at us. Jane doesn't care.

"Jane let's go inside and relax.  I need you to calm down babe. It's not good for you or our baby. "
" Maura I know but how could he do that? I  thought he was a man of honor. I was so wrong.  The military will know this now. I am positive that Darlene will inform them.  Let him deal with the downfall of his actions. I feel sorry for her and her children.  They apparently loved him. I am just glad he gave up his parental rights and I am through with him."

Jane is saying that as we are walking inside the hotel. We see Darlene with her family in the lobby.  Casey is on the floor and Darlene's brother we assume has hit Casey several times hard. We can see the bruises on his body.  Hotel security has the man in handcuffs.  An older gentleman is explaining to them why he was assaulted. They look at us.  Darlene must of told them who we were. Casey tells them he won't press charges so they unruffled the man.
He walks to us.

" Good evening I am Thomas Ryan.  I am Darlene's younger brother.  I am sorry for you not having a man willing to be a father to your child. I am glad my sister and our family found this out today before her wedding at sunrise.  I wish you and your wife and your child much happiness.

We both thank him.  The others wave to us and we wave back. We walk away. Casey is at the front desk asking for another room.

" WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU HAVE NO OTHER ROOMS AND THERE ARE NO VACANCIES NEARBY!"

Jane laughs and says outlook. Kharma is a bitch.  We get into the elevator with Darlene, her children, parents, grandparents and younger brother. They introduce themselves and we do the same. Darlene tells them  my wife and her went to undergraduate school and Maura was the valedictorian of their class.  The look on her two teenagers was pure hurt.  They get off before us and wish us well. Jane and I tell Darlene we are sorry before the elevator doors closes. She states it was better to find out now. The elevator closes. Jane takes a deep breath.

"Maur they deserve better. I am glad they found out before they got married . You two went to school together. "
" YES, I didn't recognize her at first. She was an excellent student and lab partner.  I knew she joined the army once she graduated.  "

We entered our room and placed our things down.  Jane ordered a chocolate and fruit basket for Darlene and her family with a note stating she was sorry.  I was so proud of my wife. We went out on the balcony with some water and some of the fruit. We talked some,sipped our water and ate the fruit. We enjoyed the sunrise than eventually went to bed. We both were exhausted. We fell asleep in our bikinis.
