That was all Jaejin could mutter after their group, or more specifically, Haerin solo'd every single question on her own.
"Amazing as always, Haerin-ssi, you and your group got all the points. Congratulations!" Professor Irene praised, earning Haerin a round of applause, especially from her fan club fanboys.
"Haerin, you're so smart!"
"Haerin, please tutor me!"
"Haerin, notice me!!!!"
Minji scowled at the boys' behavior while Jaejin just sat there, culturally shocked at the chaotic atmosphere the classroom was giving. Dubbed as the Ice Queen, Haerin paid no attention to the fanboys like she usually did.
After the group activity, Minji was back to isolating herself while Haerin did her own thing, initiating small chatter with Jaejin every now and then. It was kind of awkward for the boy, but they weren't causing trouble so he can't complain.
Lunch time soon came, and everybody haul-assed out of their rooms and into the cafeteria. Since Jaejin and Hyein were transferees, a couple of students had invited them to join their circle for lunch.
Hyein being the livelier counterpart of Jaejin, naturally accepted lunch together with a bigger group, but not before asking Jaejin to fetch her before afternoon class starts.
"Yeah, just ring my phone and I'll pick you up. Be careful, okay?"
"I will! Thanks, Jaejin-ie!"
And with that, Hyein had left with the big group, leaving Jaejin alone for the time being. As he was putting his things away however, Danielle and Hanni approached him.
"Hey there, Jaejin," Danielle beamed with her signature bright smile. "Hanni has something to tell you."
She said as she lightly pushed Hanni in front. The shorter girl sported a light blush on her cheeks while internally cursing Danielle for putting her on the spot.
"Oh, what is it, Hanni?" Jaejin asked while Hyein simply tilted her head to the side.
The mere mention of her name put Hanni's emotions into overload as she barely managed to stammer what she wanted to say.
"U-uh, W-well... Would y-you like to h-ave lunch... with us t-today?"
Jaejin thought for a bit. It was a good offer since it would be a good chance to get them better, not like there's any reason to refuse anyway.
"Sure! I'd like that," Jaejin replied, earning a shy smile from Hanni.

"Alright! Let's get going before all the food runs out," Danielle pumps her fist in the air, leading Hanni and Jaejin to the cafeteria.
It wasn't long till they got there, but the line for food surely is.
