Arisu rolled her eyes, getting annoyed by Vicky's commentary.

"Yeah, yeah, no need to worry." she replied. "It's just a scratch. It's not like I'm dying or anything."

She flexed her joints, feeling some bones crack. To her, it was merely a minor setback.

"Do you know them? Not that I was snooping, but I overheard when they threatened you." Vicky said while picked up Arisu's bag that was tossed on the floor.

"Yeah, they threatened me a lot. I nearly fell to the ground, bleeding and begging for help." the woman teased. But Vicky sensed she was lying, so she deduced the opposite. "You kids should focus on your exams, not other people's business..." she scolded, walking away from the girl.

"You have no idea what happened in that alley."

Strange occurrences were unfolding at Arisu's house. As she attempted to brush her teeth, she inadvertently snapped the toothbrush in half and squeezed out all the toothpaste from the tube with minimal effort.

When she arrived home from work, her hand became stuck to the doorknob. When she attempted to pull it off, a thin layer of web emerged from her veins, stretching as she freed herself from the doorknob. It took her 15 minutes to remove the web from the doorknob and an additional five minutes from her wrist.

Some thumping and grumbling noises emanated from the neighbors' apartments. Most people either ignored them or simply called for silence. However, the only one who took pity on the situation was Vicky. At a glance, she noticed the strange phenomena unfolding around her friend. It wasn't as if she was meddling in personal matters; rather, she had a genuine concern. Vicky stepped out of her unmade bed and made her way to the front door. The sounds outside were reminiscent of a war zone—the banging and clanging of glass reverberating through the air.

"DAMN IT!" it could be heard on the hallway.

As she approached Arisu's apartment, Vicky knocked on the door.

"Ari? Is everything all right?" she exclaimed.

"Yes, I'm just getting into some watery problem here." Vicky hears the sound of leaking water in the background.

"Don't you want me to call the plumbers? I think they might be able to help." she advised, but it seems that the older woman wasnt listening, so she to see what's going on.

The woman approached the entrance door, when she turned the knob, she saw her neighbor. Vicky scratched the back of her head in confusion.

"Holy shit, how did you do all that damage!?" she asked, still shocked. Her eyes fell on some improvised dumbbells next to the sink debris and she couldn't help but wonder why someone would work out while brushing their teeth.

"The bathroom sink broke. It's not a big deal, I can fix this damn thing." the woman said nonchalantly, shrugging off the destruction as the water was leaking out.

"Um, do you need any help? If you let me to." the redhead replied.

"I can handle this. But you can help too bringing me my toolbox." she replied, gesturing towards her bedroom. Vicky goes into her closet to see a dirty yet old toolbox abandoned in midst of pile of clothes and shoes. She picked it up and carried it back to Arisu, careful to avoid stepping on the barbells scattered on the floor.

As she gripped the handle, she carried the box next to Arisu and away from the debris.

"Ah, you've been working out. I mean, looking at some barbells on the floor, jeez." she sighed. "Okay, I think that's easy to solve. The plumbing system is damaged; that's why it's leaking water. But I need to get some parts first so I can change them." Arisu explained.
