After his passing, Aunt Bierce handed Arisu a envelope that only could be opened by her, Arisu questioned why herself. Aunt Bierce didn't said why, only something that Haru told her to not share everyone but her mom.
The envelope was written in a rush, the blurred lines were dificult to read, when Arisu reached home. She tighten her grip when she turn the knob to enter home. With a tired face, she tossed herself in the couch, holding the envelope. She unwraps the paper to reveal another wrapped paper, not a envelope this time. But it seemed to be a drawing, as she saw his signature at the edge.
When she unwraped, it reveals a superhero drawing, differently of her former suit, his version of the suit was so beautifully drawing, she always knew that was a handy kid. Arisu adjusted herself on her seat to see clearly. it was a white and red suit, with webs addresing the edges in red in almost total white suit. With some parts in red, a spider symbol in its chest.
She thought that he wouldn't knew the existence of Scarlet Web. Until she remembers that she became a bit famous after prevent a robbery in the hospital's donations he was in.
So he knew.
She never felt so thrilled by the fact that after all that, he would forgive her.
With a determined stride, she rose from her seat and made her way to her room. The door clicked shut behind her, muffling the sounds of the outside world. Her fingers twitched with nervous energy as she rummaged through her closet, trying to piece together her new upgraded suit. Though creativity was not her forte, Haru's guidance had given her hope.Together, they had crafted a unique fabric for her costume - one that could be reused by simply dyeing it a different color. As she ran her hands over the smooth surface, she couldn't help but feel proud of how far she had come. And now, with a fresh batch of red dye at hand, she set to work on adding intricate spiderweb designs to her costume - a symbol of both creativity and strength.
Her webshooters coverings were dyed to red, and upgrading web's resistance and wide her length.
As the hours went by, she became fully absorbed in perfecting every detail of her new ensemble. Every stitch, every fold was carefully thought out and executed with precision. This was more than a simple suit to her.
Her new powers were becoming problematic. Whether it was having her wrists stuck in cutlery or pulling on it, a glistening web of crimson blood emerged like a thread of yarn. After the fight with the thugs, saving one life, and losing another, she realized that her ability to help people and clear her name would be crucial in showing Bierce what she had always desired.
Crimson blood flowed through her veins, weaving in and out of her wrists. They didn't resemble ordinary blood vessels; instead, they seemed like delicate webs—part web, part blood. When Arisu recalled that blood, she thought only of her son's life slipping through her fingers. She grappled with conflicting emotions: guilt or self-hatred. She was her flesh and blood, her very reason of her existence.
The spider who caused all this was white, its venomous blood producing intricate webs. It behaved akin to a black widow, stealthily approaching its prey and injecting them with crimson liquid—a slow, inexorable demise.
It was in her DNA.
How could she have failed in such a fragile life? The woman crumpled each ball of paper and hurled it at her makeshift mountain. She didn't consider herself creative enough for this task; she felt like nothing. The inability to continue the treatment left her feeling helpless, but she wondered about the purpose.
When the suit was ready, she wore it, closing the zipper and putting the mask, she looked herself in the mirror, she was more taller than before, and the white and red was looking like at the superhero movies.
"I hope I didn't wake the entire neighborhood, Vicky would kill me if everyone knew I made this..." she complained to herself. She injected some red webs at the window for testing, the web grabbed the lamp and she pushed with her might, and picked up in the last second. "Score!" she celebrated. Was more intuitive, fast, and with enhanced resistance.
