Akshit's PovI say, smiling, "I like it when you claim things 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶. Though It's already yours, 𝑠𝑢𝑛𝑓𝑙𝑜𝑤𝑒𝑟." Her cheeks turns the most beautiful shade of pink. Without any reply she reaches for the door and enters her room, tired from the day. I go for my room while thinking about the whole day. A habitual visit to the club converted my whole fucked up day to one of the best day, for the first time. Her 𝘺𝘦𝘴 made me feel so relieved. 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨. But I want the answers of the other questions too. I would get that anyhow. I decided that in the moment. Her jealousy just confirmed her yes to a definite level.
I get to the bathroom to get fresh, still smiling like an idiot. I was tired but I was happy. I don't know when was the last time I was genuinely happy. I think about how I felt so content whenever her hands were on my chest. That reminded me of her clip. It had her name. I take off the clip and watch it for some moments before slipping it to a counter. I am going to keep it for a while. 𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳.
I get freshen and get out of the bathroom with the clip in my hand. I keep it in my safe drawer. I slip into the bed. Her eyes dances across my mind. Those beautiful hazel eyes. How I want to look into those and get lost forever. Her eyes speaks so much. The more tough she presented herself as, the more her eyes talks about her innocence. She is probably regretting the day but I won't let that happen forever. 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘶𝘱 𝘰𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘴𝘶𝘯𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳. No matter how much you try to run from me, from yourself. I fall asleep like that.
______________
Waking up in the morning, I decided to skip my usual morning walk, as I was already late and join everyone for breakfast downstairs. It was the best sleep I had. After a quick shower, I headed down and found everyone already seated at the table. Shruti, as usual, couldn't resist teasing me, asking, "Oh my god bhai, today you're here for breakfast?" It was typical of her to poke fun, but thankfully, Maa stepped in and put an end to it, saying , it's good to have him here.
Shruti joked, "Okay, I'm zipping up my mouth." It was amusing to see everyone's surprised faces at my presence. However, the one person I was looking for was missing - Tiara. I scanned the room, searching for her until I spotted her emerging from the kitchen with a tray in hand. Maa exclaimed happily, "Today Tiara made tea for all of us."
Everyone at the table showered her with praise and compliments, which was nice to see. I was suddenly very happy seeing my family members liking her so much. She served tea to everyone except me, knowing I always preferred coffee and rarely came downstairs for breakfast.
In that moment, a twinge of regret flickered within me for not opting for tea earlier. If I had, perhaps Tiara would have included me in her thoughtful gesture of serving tea to everyone. However, today, I had a sudden craving for tea made by her. So, as she neared the end of serving everyone, I couldn't resist speaking up. "Where is my tea?" I inquired, breaking the silence.
The reaction around the table was a mix of surprise and disbelief. Shruti, immediately questioned my sudden preference. "What? Since when did you start drinking tea?" she asked, her eyebrows raised in astonishment. Determined, I defended my request, stating, "Why? Can't I drink tea? I feel like having some today."
Shruti persisted, reminding me of my past dislike for tea. "But you hated tea na?" she pointed out. Brushing off her concerns, I asserted, "I like it now. What's the problem?" Shruti conceded that she didn't have an issue but pointed out the inconvenience of making tea again just for me. She turned to Maa, suggesting that she would now have to make tea for me.
