Chapter 28 - Slow and steady

Akshit's Pov

While she was drying her hairs, I stand there and watch her with a smile. While she was drying her hair, some droplets fell onto my face. I laugh while she hurriedly looks towards me and asks, "What are you doing here?" I simply get closer to her and reply, "Watching you. What are you doing?" She resumes her work while replying, "My dryer broke. Now you stop watching me and go downstairs. Aunty will come after you if you don't."

I close some more distance and whisper near her ear, "Are you afraid of being watched 𝑺𝒖𝒏𝒇𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓?" She, once again, looks towards me and replies, "Well yes. By a creep, definitely." I reply, "Certainly I am not one and No other can from now on." She whispers, "Why? You will beat them up if they does?" I smile and reply, "Yes, if needed." She narrows her eyes and says, "Lawyer ho ki Gunda mawali?(Are lawyer or a goon?)" I look into her eyes, "Whatever you want me to be. Well I can use law too."

Her dreamy look changes into her narrowing her eyes. She states, "That will be called misuse of law." I sigh and hold her by her waist and reply, "Toh aap chahti kya hai mohtarma?(Then what do you want ma'am?)" Her eyes widen and she says, "At this moment, for you to leave me. Someone will see us Akshit." I pull her closer and reply, "Ask me Do I care?" She replies instantly, "Well I do. I still have some shame left Akshit." I was riling her up just to watch her flush with that beautiful shade of pink but now a little shyness will do.

I reply smirking, "I can eat that up too. Actually I will." Her eyes widen and she swallows. The blush takes over her cheeks. She tries to push me away when I kiss her cheek to make her blush a little more. She whisper-yell 'Akshit' when I kiss her another cheek. She finally pushes me away with all the force and I let her go. She looks towards me, all flushed. I laugh at her reaction. She says, "Seriously Akshit. Have some shame," and leaves, towards her room. I laugh and move downstairs.

I reach downstairs to find almost everyone except Shruti. After a while she emerges from kitchen and starts serving with maa. I tease her, "You didn't prepared the food, right? Otherwise we have to starve today." She yells, "BHAI." I laugh at her. Maa warns me with a 'Akshit' and asks, "Where is Tiara?" I state, "Will be downstairs soon." Arjun jiju whispers near me, "Tumhe Saab pata hai, hein, saale saab?(You know everything, dear brother in law?)" I reply, whispering, "Mujhe toh aapke aur didi ki romance bhi dikhi Aaj, kaha kya Maine kuch?(Even I saw a bit of your romance with dii, did I say anything?)" Jiju coughs and says, "Maaf karein humein. Humne kuch nhi dekha(Okay excuse me, I am sorry and I didn't see anything)" I grin and offers him water. I look towards the stairs for her.

She arrives after a minute, wearing a yellow kurti. She looks gorgeous. I smile while she approaches the table with steady steps. She offers maa to help but maa denies and ask her to sit. She listens to Maa and takes her seat, in between Shruti and suchi. Suchi continuously kept talking to her which was unlikely of suchi. She really does like Tiara. Tiara enthusiastically kept talking and answering to her. They both warmed to each other in a very little time. I genuinely smile at their exchange.

I look closely to find that Tiara had applied Kohl under her eyes. Her eyes looked far more beautiful with that small change. I kept looking at her for a long time until she finds me looking at her. I don't hide my observation and smile at her with a wink. She narrows her eyes and ignores me. 𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨. Suddenly I trap her legs in between mine while calmly eating my food and smirking. I look forward to find her flushed and eyes widen which soon converts into narrowed ones. She tries to get her legs out of the trap but struggles to. I don't let my grip loosen.

I don't let her go for some time until we finish our breakfast. She glares towards me during the whole breakfast. I just kept on smirking. Her blush disappeared gradually and now I am tempted to get that back on her cheeks. Meanwhile after breakfast, Megha dii asks me if I can drop them to Bade Papa's house. I agree while Shruti asks if she can join us too. Megha dii agrees while asking Tiara to join them too. She agrees as suchi insists her too.
