Me and you, the two characters of a book
Which consists of a chapter I overlooked
The words you wrote, all mistook
Sunshine,give me one last look.
The silence destroys my soul
My words echo like an unheard toll
Golden tiaras and blue butterflies
We were tangled in all our twisted lies.
Paths that change, Words that kill
In this book of twists, we both stood still
The paths we walked,now hated and unclear
Lost in the echoes of what once was dear.
Me and you, the characters of a book
Has a name of a chapter,which I overlooked
"Flashback" you wrote, something mistook
Sunshine.
Give me one last look.
