15. SCARLET

After everything I did to him,Alpha was next to me,some sort of expression on his face that he was very relieved to see me and I felt guilt consume me.

I stabbed him.

Four days ago,I ran for life and away from Alpha's home land. It wasn't easy hiding from the world around me after I stabbed him and I don't know what got over me to do so.

Maybe I wanted my freedom but again some force made me regret leaving the so called love of my life. I knew guards were hunting for me for my return,I thought they wanted to murder me for the death of there Alpha or hang me on a rope.

The horrors I had when ever I would stop running from the action I did. Hunger and excruciating pain irritated me on the second day when I was completely lost in the woods,I would sleep next to hidden bushes or find caves and when ever it got cold I wrapped myself with my arms around me. Then on the fourth day I found myself clanning to my own life when I found myself in a town.

People were all over the place. They insulted me and cursed me for being human. They also wanted to stone the life out of me,but unfortunately Alpha Kaden protected me in his wolf form. People around frighted and respecting his presence by kneeling to him.

Alphas have so much power and with what Kaden did,I saw Cassey call out to me. She was well and tears of joy could not stop pouring out,I wanted to laugh but my body parts were hurting so much and all the drama that happened I had collapsed on her.

Till I ended up here in a warm room with the sudden presence of my pet that won't stop chasing after me after the damage I did.

"Why did you came for me?" I began to sob out of nowhere as I removed my hand away from his touch.

"Like I said four days ago Scarlet, you're my mate." He says softly.

I didn't even intend to glare over to him because I began to shiver because of what he would do to me.

"I stabbed you,I escaped from you,I wanted you dead but I..." I cry quietly. He is going to hurt me either ways.

"...hesitated and didn't process everything well after the incident. It's not your fault, I know my bad actions towards you have made you mentally damaged and the way I treated you was not...right." He sounded like he meant it but I wasn't buying it.

"Please go." I asked him and a growl cane out of him. He places his hand under my chin and firmly turns it towards his direction.

I saw his majestic red eyes suddenly sparkle to me. They were beautiful.

"I'm not leaving my mate behind. Scarlet, I will do anything you ask if you came home with me." He suggest and I just wanted some space to be alone.

"Can I see Cassey before we go?" I asked him calmly as my watery eyes gaze over to him. Alpha firmly wipes my tear with his large thumb. "What ever you say." He sighs and gets up heading towards the door.

"I will call Cassey for you." He says before he left,I called out to him and he turns to see me wanting him to tell him something.

I play with my fingers a little. "I'm so sorry for stabbing you." I muffle out.

"I'd also like to apologize for the things I did to you the moment I saw you. I'm sorry." I widen my eyes with his sentence.

He apologized to me? His being gentle once again. Surprisingly I smiled a little.

"Scarlet!" A happy voice called to me as Cassey came rushing towards me that she pounced on me on the bed.

"Ouch." I groan as I felt my head hurt.

"Shit! I'm so sorry." She apologizes and get off of me.

"I'm happy to see you to Cassey. I thought I'd never see you again after you were sold off." I say to her and I froze noticing how Cassey was looking. Her hair grew longer,she was in a peach dress with some slippers on,her face was glowing beautifully the last I saw her she was pale,slim and weak but now she looks like a whole new Cassey.
