18. SCARLET

I froze with his sentence.

He wants to join in?

I nervously clear my throat.

"I'm not so sure about  that." I spoke. I was releaved he wore boxers inside his towel because  it gave me a wild imagination.

"It's fine,I will use the shower instead." I couldn't tell if he was angry  or disappointed. He walked past me and entered the showers.

The glass doors revealed everything and it wasn't clear because I could only see his upper body while his lower body was covered with hot steam from the shower. I stare at him,he washed himself up with soap then allowed the water to rense him,he looked up and groaned out so deeply. He looked very sexy in there.

Then his gaze turned over to me. I immediately pretend to wash my hair. My heart was beating so fast and I pray he didn't notice.

"Scarlet." I shiver and I gave Alpha a corner look."We need to talk." He spoke. Did I do something  wrong?! I can feel my hands trembling but I respond back. "Alright Alpha." I gulp down my throat.

After the shower,I was wrapped in a towel and sitted on the bed,waiting  for Alpha to get me some warm clothes,I felt very anxious about what he wanted to talk about.

It didn't  bother me that much though,but what really bothered me is the pain I was feeling  on my ankle  and forehead because the wound on my head began  to show that bumpy brown mark when I looked on the mirror earlier. I looked terrible.

It wasn't  long when Alpha arrived in his pajamas with a white vest on,Hmmm those muscles were intimidating but hot to look at.

"Fuck,I need to get you clothes. Your scent is all over my clothes." He said with a unpleasant grin as he handed me fresh clothes and I place them on my lap.

"Thank you Alpha." I spoke with respect.

He didn't  say anything but turn away from me. I decide to get dressed but he was I'm the room.

"Can I have some privacy and dress up please?" I muffled out.

"What's there to hide from me?" He asked and  I exhale.

"My body." I roll my eyes and he chuckles.

"Fine,I will look away instead." He replies and seats on the bed and turns away.

I dressed up really quickly because  I didn't trust Alpha's single word.
My injuries were hurting me so much that my ankle felt it would fall off,I calm ly seat on the bed too.

"I hate this." I muffled.

Then Alpha got up from bed,came to side and sat down on the carpet,my eyes widen at his actin as he gently picked up my foot and felt it carefully.

"Nothing  I can fix." He says without  glancing  at me.

He placed a hand above my sore ankle and a sparkle of red light did the magic,it felt good as I admired what a shifter like him can have such an ability. It was truly  magnificent.

"So you said you wanted t talk to me." I broke the awkward silence.
"Yes."He replies. I felt a shiver all of a sudden.

"Did I do something  wrong?" I asked nervously. He places my fot down and stares up to me,his eyes dropped dead to  me.

"Unfortunately no." He spoke. "Oh." I feel a little relieved.

"Remember the woman that hurt you and invaded my room?" He sked and I felt a nerve pop out. "Her name was Lila right?" I could remember  that crazy lady clearly. I hated her.
