The girl will be the death of me.

"I could tell,now you've made her take a toll on herself by not eating anything because you couldn't answer any of her questions!"  Drex pissed as hell when I left the bedroom and head to my office were Seth came along with me.

"She can do that for all I care,I have other things to think about. She wanted this fight and may I remind you she's planning to escape? I'm certain you've read her tiny mind earlier." I inform him. Scarlet is a dare devil that she has the courage to play this competition on me as though she's my equal.

"Because she is our mate! What if something bad happens to our mate? She will be ill,she's fragile to let her do such a thing. Go answer her questions." He demands. I ignore Drex like a ghost. She wanted this fight and it's now on.

I was gathering Intel on how I could find a way of making sure Lila and I don't become potential mates and rule and reunite the Omega and the Moon Crest pack. It was frustrating that she had the audacity to enter my room and attack the human it hit a nerve honestly.

"This couldn't get even harder." I growl.

Hours had passed and I was certain the girl was in bed asleep. I was writing some plans for the next schedule for next month's pack duties when suddenly I froze my pen on paper.

"Why did...you kiss me?"

"...what's a mate?"

Crap of all times she had to flash in my head. I lean in my chair and I had my reasons not telling her because I couldn't answer my own questions.

Why is she my mate?

What are the possibilies of her making me happy?

Why did I react so badly when Lila hurt her?

Why did I kiss her?

I grunt,annoyed that's simple things aren't making any sense and few things are at risk, my wolf,my personality, my pack and my mat-

My thoughts where immediately shut when the lights blacked out. That never happens at all.

Some crap is going on.

I hear howls outside my mansion and Seth did aswell and he spoke.

"Trouble."

My wolf vision was on and I got up from my seat,rushing outside the room and heading downstairs.

"Alpha." John one of my guards called out to me in panic.

"Answers now." I growl as we head outside of my mansion with five guards guarding outside.

"Some unknown wolves have entered the territory and seem to be heading east." John explains.

"How the hell did they get into the pack?!" I roar. This never happens at all.

"Unless they want mate." Drex responds. I nod in disagreement.

"That's not the issue here I'm certain they are just stray wolves looking for trouble."  I told him.

"Ethan you're being arrogant again." That made me pissed.

"Don't you dare tell me what to do!" I tell him and shut him from the link.

"Once we encounter with them,kill them all!" I instruct the guards.

They all shift except Seth and ran after them,I look upto to the window for my room.

"Seth you remain guarding my room. I won't be long." I instruct him.

"Of course Alpha."

She'll be fine.

My wolf Aura took over my body as I shift,I ran fast noticing that I'm frustrated as fuck. I catch up to the other wolves and John was right,they were heading east,there scent in the air and paw prints on the ground.

"Ambush 0!" I link the guards. This was a formation were we let prey or predators know running forward was is a safe idea. In the actual sence we slow down with two wolves behind letting them think they are too fast for us,four wolves separate from the pack,two to the left wing,two on the right wing while one wolf heads to find its way in front of the runners which was me in this case. I take a shortcut knowing my pack at the back of my head,through the thick woods and straight to opening sight,I stop knowing this was my point I could hear them head right towards me.

I stand my ground as Alpha and growl as four unknown wolves stop by presence and shock.

They try to turn back and two wolves stop them in there trucks,they switch to the left to the right but we're surrounded by seven wolves.

Making them trapped in a zero zone circle.

"How dare you enter my territory you mutts!" I roar. They didn't seem to back down.

"Does it matter Alpha Ethan? You may have trapped us but remember you are fooled from the very beginning." One of them laughed. Without hesitation,I poince on the one that made me angry,causing a Chaos and we attacked them.

I step the face of the ugly wolf,bite his throat off and blood was everywhere my mouth dripping blood as I pant in anger. All of them where dead and I return to my senses.

"No one disrespects the Alpha!" And I howl to the moon warning everyone in my pack to never cross against me or they will be in for it.

"Something's off." Drex echos in my head.

"Mate!" I felt Scarlet crying for help through the bond,afraid and injured.

"It was a set up!" I clench my jaw.

I go with two guards, Tyler and Zayn. Going to find the monster that took Scarlet away from me.

"She's not far quickly!" And I ran like there was no tomorrow,running South and my heart dropped when I heard a scream of Scarlet crying for help even louder.
