"Yumi, that's the bus!" I had to ride that thing. Instant mood-ruiner. "Bye Mom, bye Dad!" I told my parents. I was out the door before they even had a chance to say anything to me. (Okay, maybe I feel a little bit bad about that.) I climbed on the bus, and found my usual seat next to my best friend, Elora Feliz. Elora is a really sunny, cheerful person. Everyone says that's why Feliz is their surname. This morning, she was wearing a black sweater, (the really big kind) a gold chain necklace, yellow hairclips, these really cool jeans with flowers on them, a yellow pin, a little black one, and these black high tops. "I like your pins," I said. " Are they new?" I asked. They blushed a bit. "Yes, they are." She told me. "Thanks for noticing." I smiled and we continued our bus ride. "Oh, we're here, Yumi." They said. We got out, and as soon as we did, we noticed a dark blue poster announcing auditions for Anastasia. "Elora, we should audition. It says it's after school. You're not doing anything, right?" I told them. "I'm not, and I think it would be fun." I looked at the big clock infront of the school. 9:00 AM. "Elora, what class do you have first today?" She thought for a bit, and replied; "Math." (We just skip homeroom, but we're both in Ms. Sawyer's homeroom.) Can I mention how much I hate math?) "I hope I get Anya." I tell Elora.
