Is this guy teasing me? If yes, I'm going to break his head for it! But if no, then what about me? Ahh! Does he really like some other girl and not me?
With those thoughts swirling in my mind, the mehendi ceremony finally came to an end. Tomorrow was the sangeet, and I was exhausted from all the weird thoughts. I went to my room, changed into something comfortable, and quickly fell asleep because, let's face it, sleep heals everything!
The next day, I woke up with a fresh mind. I headed to the bath, changed into a kurti and pants, and went straight to my mother to help out. But once again, she started giving me tantrums! "Okay, I'm tired now." I muttered under my breath, heading to the table and ordering a chilled drink. Juice always helps you chill, and in this scorching heat, it was exactly what I needed!
"Hello, Ms. Shah," Vishwa greeted as he sat across from me.
"Hey, thanks for yesterday! I was so busy I couldn't thank you," I said to him, smiling.
"Ahaan, you never thank me, but you always come to fight with me," Avyaan chimed in from behind as he sat next to me. 'He's jealous,' I thought, and before I could say anything, my mind wandered to what I was really thinking. 'I'm falling for him. I'm in this mess because maybe, just maybe, he's here to save me.' A blush spread across my cheeks.
At that moment, my juice arrived, and Avyaan's black coffee followed.
"Kya milta hai yeh kaali coffee peene se, batao zara?" I asked, teasing him.
"Tumse baat karne se toh behtar hai." He replied.
"Okay, piyo apni coffee phir." I said, and walked away, forgetting that Vishwa was still sitting there. Honestly, I didn't care.
I went to Kyra Bhabhi's room to check if she needed any help, but she said she wanted to rest. Feeling a little aimless, I decided to head back to my room to sleep. Yash and Prachi had gone to visit Rajasthan, and everyone else was busy. Some people were giving me tantrums, so I just needed some peace.
Just as I was about to drift off, my phone rang three times in quick succession. I opened the messages:
'Hello Sunshine'
'This side—forget it, you'll find out soon. I sent you a message in class, but I guess you ignored it or thought it was a prank. No, Sunshine, there's no prank.'
'Come to college soon, I'm missing you already. Uhh, Sunshine, don't be scared. I won't harm you. But if you give me reasons, I might. I can harm your loved ones though. Don't tell anyone about these messages, or the consequences will be harmful. Love you, Sunshine. ~YOUR STALKER'
