Revelations at Sunset

---

As Dipper continued his routine at work, Mabel couldn't help but notice her brother's increasingly distracted demeanor. He kept spacing out, his cheeks flushed with a telltale blush that made her suspect he was thinking about Wendy again. Determined to get to the bottom of it, she confronted him during their lunch break.

"Dipper, are you okay? You've been acting weird lately," Mabel remarked, her brow furrowed with concern.

Dipper sighed, running a hand through his hair. "It's nothing, Mabel. Just tired, I guess."

But Mabel wasn't convinced. She pressed on, her voice gentle but insistent. "Is this about Wendy? Are you still crushing on her?"

Dipper's eyes widened in surprise. "No, Mabel, it's not about Wendy. I told you, I'm over her."

Their uncle joined in on the teasing, jokingly accusing Dipper of being lovesick. But instead of laughing it off like usual, Dipper's expression darkened, his frustration bubbling to the surface.

"I'm not!" Dipper snapped, his tone sharper than intended. With a huff, he got up and stormed out of the room, leaving his family bewildered by his sudden outburst.

As Dipper wandered through the forest, the afternoon sun casting long shadows across his path, he couldn't shake the feeling of frustration that lingered in his chest. Why couldn't they understand that he was over Wendy? Why did they keep bringing her up?

Lost in his thoughts, Dipper stumbled upon a clearing bathed in the warm glow of the setting sun. And there, standing before him, was Tyrone, a comforting presence amidst the chaos of his mind.

Without hesitation, Dipper rushed forward and enveloped Tyrone in a tight hug, seeking solace in his embrace. As he poured out his frustrations, Tyrone listened attentively, his steady presence a calming influence on Dipper's frayed nerves.

"I just wish they would stop assuming things about me," Dipper murmured, his voice tinged with frustration.

Tyrone nodded in understanding, his hand coming to rest on Dipper's shoulder in a gesture of support. "I know, Dipper. But sometimes people see what they want to see, regardless of the truth."

Feeling a weight lift off his shoulders, Dipper leaned back against Tyrone, his head resting against his shoulder. And in that moment of quiet intimacy, Tyrone gently tilted Dipper's chin upward, their eyes meeting in silent understanding.

"Look at me," Tyrone whispered, his hand delicately covering Dipper's eyes. And before Dipper could protest, Tyrone leaned in and pressed his lips against his, a sweet, tender kiss that sent shockwaves of warmth coursing through Dipper's body.

As they pulled away, Dipper met Tyrone's gaze, his heart racing with a newfound sense of clarity. And as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the world in hues of orange and pink, Dipper knew that this moment would forever be etched in his memory as the beginning of something new and exciting.
