Sonic stopped suddenly in front of the team, breathing hard. Everyone looked worried.

North: "Why are you running? What happened?"

Alan: "Yeah, everything okay? What's wrong?"

Sonic struggled to speak between breaths. "Did you guys see the news?"

Babe: "What news? What is new today?"

Sonic turned on the iPad, and the news flashed across the screen, grabbing everyone's attention. A thick silence filled the room as they absorbed the shocking headlines. Faces froze in disbelief, but Babe seemed hit the hardest.

His eyes widened as he tried to make sense of it all. How had his dad found him? And the bombshell about Tony bringing Waan into the racing world, even on a rival team, hit him like a ton of bricks.

Alan glanced over at Babe, worried about how he was taking it all in. The atmosphere grew heavier by the second, each member of the team wrestling with their own thoughts and worries in the face of this unexpected turn of events.

Alan, sensing the need to lighten the mood, spoke up, "Well, it looks like we've got a solid sponsor on our side already."

Babe nodded, trying to shake off the tension. "Exactly, Phi. Who cares who's sponsoring them as long as we've got a strong backing? And with me at the wheel, there's nothing to fear. I'll always come out on top in every race, you can count on that."

Despite appearing calm on the outside, Babe's insides boiled with anger and resentment toward his father. Behind his composed face, a whirlwind of emotions raged within him. He grasped the true meaning behind Tony's sponsorship offer-it wasn't just about helping the team financially; it was a disguised threat, aimed straight at him.

The realization struck Babe hard, like a heavy hammer slamming down. He had always sensed a confrontation with his father looming in the distance, but he never expected it to arrive so suddenly.

As he put on a brave smile for his team, Babe's heart felt heavy with the weight of what lay ahead. Anticipation and fear tangled together inside him, painting a picture of the daunting battle he knew was coming.

Way broke the tense atmosphere with his determined words, "Alright then, it's settled. Let's hit the practice track hard and show them that it's skill, not just sponsorship, that wins the game."

His declaration spurred the team into action, each member refocusing on their tasks with renewed determination.

From far away, someone watched as Sonic hurried towards the team, looking really worried. The air felt heavy with tension as they all gathered.

Sonic showed them a video on his device, capturing their reactions. The watcher could see Babe's discomfort clearly. But even though things seemed tense, Babe stayed cool and collected, which caught the watcher's interest.

After a while, when the team scattered to get back to work, the watcher quietly slipped away. They were curious about what they had seen and wanted to know more, but they made sure to leave without anyone noticing them. There was a mystery in the air that lingered even after they were gone.
