Everyone waited anxiously in the garage, their nerves frayed by the sudden SOS. Tension thickened the air with every passing minute. Suddenly, a sleek black BMW pulled up, and all eyes turned towards it. As the car door opened, Babe emerged, striding purposefully towards the group. The moment he set foot on the pavement, he was swarmed by the team, their voices rising in a chaotic chorus of questions, demanding answers before he could even step inside the garage.

ALAN: "Is everything okay?"

NORTH: "What happened, Phi Babe?"

WAY: "Did someone hurt you?"

Babe held up his hands, trying to quell the barrage of questions. "Everyone, calm down, let me breathe first."

ALAN, his voice trembling with worry, pressed on. "How can we breathe when you suddenly sent an SOS yesterday? You don't know how panicked I was!"

Babe felt a surge of warmth as he looked around at the concerned faces. Despite not being related by blood, these men genuinely cared for him, and the realization brought a small smile to his face. Their love and worry melted away some of the tension, filling his heart with gratitude. In that moment, he was genuinely happy to have this family, friends who stood by him no matter what.

WAY: "Why are you smiling? Were you pranking us with the SOS?"

Babe chuckled softly. "Oh Way, why would I prank you guys? I do have something to tell you, but before I start, let's get settled in Phi Alan's office."

With a nod, everyone walked towards Alan's office. The atmosphere shifted, growing more serious with each step. The only time they gathered in the office was when the matter was grave and needed discretion. Reaching the office, the gravity of the situation settled over them like a heavy blanket. One by one, they entered the room, the silence amplifying their unease. As they took their seats, the weight of anticipation was palpable, each man bracing for what Babe was about to reveal.

Once everyone was seated, Alan leaned forward, his brow furrowed with concern. "So now, tell us what happened. I know you wouldn't have sent the SOS if it wasn't important."

Babe took a deep breath. "Before I say anything, I want to ask you all something."

Alan looked puzzled. "What is it?"

Babe's eyes scanned the room, his voice soft but serious. "Will you guys search for me if I go missing?"

Way's eyes widened in shock. "What type of question is this? Of course, even if no one else comes, I will go search for you... wait, did someone try to kidnap you?"

Babe shook his head, a faint smile playing on his lips. "No, no one tried to kidnap me. I just wanted to ask you all this because... I only have you guys."

After that, Babe recounted what had happened with Kenta and revealed his father's plans to the whole team. As the details unfolded, everyone's expressions darkened with fury. They were incredulous, struggling to comprehend how a father could do something so heinous to his own child. But then again, they reminded themselves, Babe was not Tony's biological son.

WAY: "That's it, I am going to kill your so-called father."

PETE grabbed Way's arm, trying to calm him down. "Calm down, dear. Before we outburst and do something stupid, we need a plan."

ALAN nodded in agreement. "Yes, Pete is right. We need a plan before we start anything."

SONIC leaned forward, urgency in his voice. "Then we should start making a plan because we don't have much time, and we don't know when their next move is."

After deliberating for some time, they all dispersed to resume their work, their minds consumed by the weight of Babe's revelations. However, they had a plan to reconvene at Alan's house in the evening for further strategizing. As they went their separate ways, the gravity of the situation hung heavy in the air, each member of the team preoccupied with the newfound knowledge and the impending battle ahead.

A/N

Trust is like a big, strong bridge in our relationships. But it's also like a delicate thread, easily broken. Sometimes, the people we trust the most, the ones we'd rely on with our lives, are the ones who hurt us the worst. They know us inside out, our strengths and our weaknesses. So when they betray us, it cuts deep, deeper than any physical pain. It's like the ground crumbling beneath our feet, leaving us feeling lost and hurt. Betrayal from someone we thought was on our side hurts more than anything else. It's like a stab to the heart, leaving us wounded and questioning everything.
