For the next few days, Babe found it hard to focus on practice. His mind was a whirlwind of thoughts and worries that he couldn't escape. This time, running away wasn't an option. The burden of his thoughts weighed heavily on him, and he longed to confide in someone. But trust was a luxury he couldn't afford, and the fear of betrayal kept him silent. Frustration simmered within him, growing stronger each day. Yet, amidst the chaos, there was one person who could help him navigate this turmoil.

On the call:

BABE: "Hello, are you home?"

CHARLIE: "I am, why?"

BABE: "I'm coming over. Be ready."

He cut the call after that and went to Alan to let him know he was taking the rest of the day off.

3rd person pov:

Charlie was confused by the sudden call from Babe, especially since Babe hadn't contacted him after what happened a few days ago. He understood what Babe meant by getting ready, so he started tidying up his apartment before Babe arrived.

Tony's Pov:

Everything is going exactly as planned. The two kids of mine-I don't know what you both are planning next, but no matter what you scheme, you can never escape your father. By now, you both should know that.

TONY: "Kenta, how is it going?"

KENTA: "Everything is going well, sir. The young master is with Charlie, the garage owner's brother."

TONY: "Good. Keep tracking him. I want Babe back home by this Friday, so make sure it happens."

KENTA: "Yes, sir."

TONY: "You can leave now. Also, keep an eye on Waan."
-----------------------------------------------
As evening descended, Babe remained seated on the sofa in Charlie's apartment, his mind a tumult of thoughts. Foremost among them was the daunting task of once again evading his father's grasp. He lacked a plan, and the weight of uncertainty pressed heavily upon him. He yearned to see Waan, but the consequences of such a meeting loomed large-complications that neither of them could afford. Above all, he could never betray his sister's safety for anyone or anything.

His life seemed to be crumbling around him, a sense of fear and nervousness creeping in after a long period of relative calm. Despite being surrounded by people who cared for him, Babe felt a profound sense of loneliness and isolation.

Charlie watched Babe with a furrowed brow, concern etched on his features. He understood the weight of Babe's struggles, the trials he had faced throughout his life. Charlie longed to offer his help, to ease Babe's burden in any way he could. But he knew that as long as Babe remained closed off and resistant to assistance, there was little he could do. Despite his eagerness to support his friend, Charlie respected Babe's boundaries, knowing that true help could only be given when it was truly wanted.

CHARLIE: "Phi, are you okay?"

BABE: "Yes, I am. Why would you ask such a stupid question? If it's because of the news, you don't have to worry."

CHARLIE: "If you want to talk to someone, you can always come. I'll always be there for you, remember that."

Babe felt a surge of emotion threatening to spill over, his eyes growing misty with unshed tears. Yet, he fought against the urge to let them fall. In this moment, he refused to succumb to weakness. The image of Pitbabe, strong and unyielding, loomed in his mind. He couldn't afford to show vulnerability, not now, not ever.

BABE: "Oh, it's getting late. I should leave. You probably have a lot of things to study for your exams. Bye then."

CHARLIE: "Okay then, Phi. It's okay to be weak sometimes."

Babe's smile faded as he closed the door behind him, Charlie's words echoing in his mind. His steps were slow and deliberate as he made his way towards his car, lost in thought. Suddenly, he spotted a familiar figure lurking near his vehicle. His blood boiled with a surge of anger as he strode purposefully towards the individual.

BABE: "What are you doing here, Kenta?"

KENTA: "It's time you come back home, young master."

BABE: "Home? I will never return to that place. You can tell your beloved master that I can never be a loyal dog like you to a person like Tony. So, never come to me saying that I have to return there because my answer will always be NO."

KENTA: "If you don't come on your own, in the end, you will be brought back home by force, and you wouldn't like that. So, think for yourself."

Alone once more, Babe grappled with a storm of emotions swirling inside him. The encounter with Kenta had ignited a fire of defiance within him. He reaffirmed his resolve never to return to his father's house, ready to fight anyone who dared to challenge his decision.

With a determined spirit, he reached for his phone and sent a text message to everyone on the team, seeking their counsel and support in this newfound battle against his past. The message was brief yet urgent:

Text:

BABE: "SOS. Tomorrow, 11 am."
