Today was my Spanish oral exam,My day started off smoothly,mom and dad came back and so did Miles.
I was nervous yet very prepared,Margo had been helping me study the past few days and I felt more confident than before.
I walked into my Spanish class avoiding all eyes on me.
Ms.Garcia started the class and called on A few kids before me,Then she called Eli.
Eli stood proudly and spoke in fairly fluent Spanish,But he made a lot of grammar and pronunciation mistakes.
Then she called on me,She had a big smile on her face,Like she did this on purpose.
I gripped the hem of my hoodie and took a deep breath.
All this work has to pay off.
I spoke fluently and clearly,I tried my best not to cry due to nervousness.
Once I was finished I sat back down and Ms.Garcia clapped slowly.
"Good job Cody." She said and I nodded and bounced my leg under my desk.
I just waited for that bell to ring so that I could go cry in the bathroom.
I wasn't sad or anything,I was so scared and had tears to shed.
Finally the bell rang and I rushed out of the classroom to go down the hallway full of kids.
I was stopped when Eli stood in frount of me blocking my path.
"You think you're better than me or something?" He questioned and I bounced on my toes avoiding his gaze.
"No." I deadpan and I punches the locker next to him.
"You think just because your the spaz of the school that you can do anything,But it doesn't work like that,I'm suppose to get what I want,When I want it,so I don't know what kind of special treatment you're getting but it doesn't mean shit." He ranted and I shrugged.
"I'm not getting any special treatment,I just do the work,which I think you should start doing,You made a few errors in your speech earlier." I deadpan and he picks me up by my collar and pushes me in the locker.
I Punched him dead in the nose causing his eyes to water and for him to let go.
"Don't fucking touch me asshole!" I yelled and people started to crowd around us.
I felt claustrophobic,Too many people,too much noise,too bright.
Eli got up and kicked me in my side knocking me to the ground.
Tears started to flow from my eyes,He was causing this,I hate melt downs snd he was making me have one.
I got up and tackled him,I repeatedly punched him in the face and jaw until there was blood on my knuckles,He punched me back in my eye and nose,making my nose bleed.
