[A day later]
I was helping my mom clear the garage,She doesn't ever use the garage so it ended being filled with junk.
"Margo how's that band idea of yours coming along?" My mom questioned and I shrugged while going through a box.
"What does that mean? Are you gonna pull through with it or not?" She questioned while leaning on the wall behind me.
"I don't know,I'd need a place to practice,Members and equipment." I sigh and she stiffled a laugh,and ruffled my hair.
"Good thing we're clearing out the garage then,If you check the attic you'll find my old guitar and your dad's old bass,I'll let you sell the stuff from in here,Buy your equipment,work on getting your band together." Mom pondered and I squealed and jumped up to hug her.
"Thank you mom,you're the best." I Beam with happiness and she laughs.
[Later...]
"What are you up to Margs?" Iris said from behind me making me jump.
"Stop sneaking up on me,and none of your business." I groan.
"Whatever I'm going to work,Do you want me to bring you anything?" She questioned and I turned to look at her.
"Yea some of those fries,The really crispy ones,Now shoo." I huff and I hear her footsteps retreat.
Iris works part time at a small club in town.
I kept trying to figure out a band name,But after too many trials and errors I decided to go look for how to find members.
I had it mapped out in my head,I'll need a drummer and a bassist,and a band name.
Cody could help me with the branding,But I feel like I'm forgetting something.
"Margo is your homework done? I want it done before dinner!" Mom yelled and I sighed,that's what I was forgetting.
Math is hard for no reason...
I scramble and find my text book and start my work.
About an hour later and I've cleaned my room,Done a small load of laundry and finished one math question.
I just have...twenty more to go.
