I sat in class bored,It's not the same without Cody here,I was right by the door and the tea her wasn't looking.
I got ready to make my escape to the bathroom until lunch but decided against it wjeni saw a hall monitor walking around.
So I sat in the back of my Trig class until the bell rang.
I walked over to a vending machine and got a bag of chips and a soda before looking around for Iris.
Eventually I found her on the roof of the school with Matilda.
"Hey pipsqueak,Eating alone again?" She questioned and Matilda punched her arm.
"Don't be mean,Come sit with us Margo." Matilda smiled and I sat with them on the bench.
"I miss Cody." I sigh and Iris rolls her eyes at me.
"So you're missing your girlfriend so what? you can face time her before bed." Iris said waving me off.
"Iris,be nice. I find it cute that Margo misses Cody." Matilda giggled.
Cute? Were me and Cody cute?
"I just hope she's not straining herself after what happened,Cody is very stubborn when it comes to taking a break." I huff and Iris raises and eyebrow at me.
"You two truly are weirdos,Also are you going over to your dad's this weekend??" Iris questioned and I shake my head.
My dad is a huge asshole,he forgets to pick me up from my mom's,he doesn't help with anything and he spends most of the day drinking or smoking.
I rather stay at mom's this weekend,He does have visitation rights but doesn't use them,and also won't give up custody of me.
I don't even consider him a dad,he's just my father,That's all he's done,father me,My real dad is my step dad,Our mom met him a year ago and he's the sweetest.
He's really nerdy and kind.
"I'm not going over by my father anymore,I give up on him." I sigh and Iris pats my shoulder.
"You're strong Margs,Remind me to beat your ass later for making me all mushy inside." She laughed and Matilda gave her a stern look .
"I'm only half kidding,Also you owe me dinner Matilda." Iris said to Matilda who shook her head.
"No I don't,You didn't score over 80 on your math test so doesn't count." She huffed.
"You said as long as I pass and I did pass...with a 61 still counts." my sister argued.
I sat and watched the two while stealing some of iris' lunch.
Our step-dad,Kasaki makes us bentos which are delicious,And I usually eat mine during first period when I skip.
