(episode one ; the hellfire club)

THE DARK RED BMW GLIDED DOWN THE SLIM, EMPTY ROADS. Steve Harrington held one firm hand on the steering wheel, the short-haired girl, Robin Buckley, stressfully applying her eye makeup in the sun visor. Willow Harrington sat tidily in the middle backseat of the car, examining her painted red fingernails, resting her hands against her Hawkins High cheerleading outfit.

"Then there's Heidi tomorrow night, but the problem with Heidi is that she's going out of State for college," Steve explained his very complicated love life to the two. "Do I wanna start another relationship that has no point other than sex?"

Willow coughed quite violently at the sudden question. "Dude, gross. I do not need to be hearing about your...sex life."

Steve sighed dramatically, slapping the steering wheel. "I mean, I don't know, does this make sense to you?" he asked Robin from next to him, who was not paying attention whatsoever, still clumsily doing her under eye makeup. "Robin, are you listening?" Steve frustratedly asked her.

"Uh, yes."

"What did I just say?" Steve frowned at her.

"Something about sex with Linda," Robin thought quickly, throwing her hands in the air. Willow scrunched her face up in disgust at the continuous talk of her brothers sex life.

"No! I'm talking about Heidi!" he threw his hand on the steering wheel again.

"Cut me some slack, please!"

"Well-," Steve started.

"Your love life is one of labyrinth complexity and it is seven in the morning, we have that stupid pep rally, and I woke up looking like total a corpse" Robin interrupted him, defending herself and squishing her own face.

"You're worried about a pep rally?" Steve scoffed. "You expect me to believe that?"

"Yeah? So?"

"So, we both know what this is about, okay? I'm not buying that. This is about Vickie."

The name Vickie spiked Willow's interest, shooting up from her seat and leaning forward so she was in between Robin and her brother. "Oooooo, Vickie?" Robin shot her a fierce look, beginning to apply her eye makeup again. "Who's Vickie?" Willow asked her brother, twisting her head towards him now.

"Vickie's a girl from Robin's band, who Robin is totally obsessed with, that's why she's all nervous and shit," he answered his sister, gesturing to Robin's stressed state.

"Absolutely not," Robin immediately denied.

"Yes it is! And you know what else?"

"I really don't care-."

"I think you gotta stop pretending to be someone else when you are around her," Steve told her, raising his voice over hers. "Okay? You just gotta- you gotta be yourself."
