Chapter 12

Jessica Pov: As soon as I get home I run into the kitchen, because I'm really hungry. I grab an apple and head up the stairs. I was about to open my bedroom door when I bump into Jack. "Sorry lil sis." "It's all good." I say trying to reach the door, but he won't let me. "So your going on a date with Jack?" he asks smirking. "Maybe. I have to go get ready so move!" He moves to the side as I run into my personal bathroom. I take a quick shower and spend some time trying to figure out what to wear. I dial the one person I know I can call. "Hey Jess" I hear Alexa say. "You need to come over ASAP it's an emergency." "I think I know where this is headed. I'll be right there!" 5 minutes later I hear the doorbell ring and Jack beat me to the door. "Hello beautiful." Jack says to Alexa. "Yeah..Okay. I gotta go to Jess it's an emergency!" she says rushing over to me. I giggle as Jack gives me a glare. He likes Alexa, but she still hasn't figured it out. We run up the stairs and run into my room. I shut the door the walk over to the closet. "I'm guessing your going on a date and you don't know what to wear?" she asks. "Oh Lex, you know me so well." I reply laughing. She comes out with a beautiful blue dress and a pair of silver sparkly heels. "What would I do without you Lex?" "I don't know, but we can figure that out later! Go get dressed." I rush to the bathroom and when I come out I don't see Alexa, she must of left. I walk downstairs to see Jack standing by the door with a bouquet of flowers. I walk up to him and give him a small smile. "These are for you." He hands me the flowers and I put them in a vase. "They are beautiful! Thank you Jack." I smile and give him a big hug. He instantly hugs back and we walk out to his car. He opens the door then jogs over to his side and shuts the door. "So where are we going?" I said my curiosity taking over. "It's a surprise babe." he said with a wink. I started blushing then looked away. "Your cute when you blush." he tells me with a cheeky smile. I lean over and kiss his cheek as he starts to heat up. "Jack, it's adorable when you blush." I say with a giggle. I hear him chuckle as he parks by a beautiful river with a bridge. Jack opens my door and holds my hand. "We walk across the bridge as I see a table with candles around it. The stars, the candles, the music makes everything perfect. The music is very quiet, but loud enough for you to hear it. "Jack this is beautiful... I don't know what to say." I tell him admiring the beautiful view. "I'm glad you like it." he said with a cheeky smile. We walk over to the table and sit down. There are two plates with trays over them. I wonder what type of food it is! He takes the lid of my tray and I soon see a plate full of pasta. It had vegetables in the sauce and it looked homemade. I take a bit and give Jack a big smile. "Did you make this?" "Yeah, I know it's your favorite." His family has a special sauce recipe and it is delicious. Jack has cooked for me before and he is really good at it! We soon finish up and we walk back to the door. We just talk about our date tonight as we pull into my driveway. "I had a really good time tonight." "Me too." he says before kissing my cheek. "Love you." "Love you too, boo!" Jack says making me laugh. Words can't explain how much I love him. He walks me up to my door and we day our goodbyes. I open the door to see someone I never thought I'd see again...
