Jessica's Pov: "Mom do we have to leave, I'm going to miss my friends!" "Your best friend Alexa just moved to the same town since both of your dads work together. At least you'll know someone there!" "I have more than one friend mom." "I know honey, finish packing." I finished up the last box and put it in the moving truck. I take one last look at my empty room and head downstairs. Let me tell you a little bit about me. I'm just a normal 16 year old girl who has to move, because of her dads work. We are moving from Virginia to California which is a big change. I start to doze off to the music playing through my ear buds.
Hours later...
I wake up to my little sister jumping on me. "Wake up Jessica, we're going to be at the new house in a few minutes!" "Okay, okay I'm up!" I look out the window and we're in a neighborhood very close to the beach. After a few minutes we pull into a very beautiful beach house. I quickly unbuckle and run into the house to get the first pick out of the rooms. I have a younger sister Kayla and an older brother Jack. Jack Johnson if you've ever heard of him. Yes, he's the famous viner and rapper along with Jack Gilinsky, his best friend. I sort of have feelings for Jack G. but no one knows and I plan on keeping it that way. Plus I haven't seen him in months and I probably won't see him again. "I want this room!" I yell exploring a big room with a balcony showing the beautiful view of the beach. It had its own bathroom and a walk in closet. I absolutely loved it! I go back out to the car and grab all of my packed up boxes. I bring them up to my new room and start unpacking the clothes first.
Later that night...
I finished unpacking most of my things and look at the clock. It's 9:00pm and I start school in 2 days so I better get some rest while I can. I run downstairs and walk into the living room. "Goodnight mom, I'm going to bed" "Goodnight honey, sleep well." I then walk into my dads (going to be) work office. "Goodnight dad, love you" "Love you too, goodnight." As I'm about to leave the room he tells me to make sure Kayla is asleep. I run back up the stairs and walk into Kayla's room. She was fast asleep on her bed so I cover her up and shut the door. As I walk into my room I lay in my bed and fall asleep.
