Lily's POV:
So, right now I'm in my room doing the finishing touches of makeup for my anniversary date tonight with Dylan.
'DING' 'DONG' 'DING' 'DONG'
That must be Dylan.
"Honey, Dylan's here!" my mom screamed to me from downstairs.
"Coming!" I yelled.
I was wearing a white blouse with denim skinny jeans and flats. That's how dressy I get. I'm not a dress type of girl, even though I could totally rock the look.
I walked down the steps and over to Dylan. He put an arm around my waist and said goodbye to my mother. My mother smiles and let us be.
"So where are you taking me?" I asked once we got into his car.
"That's for me to know and for you to find out," he said all cheekily. I giggled and watched the trees pass by as we drove to our destination.
"We're here." Dylan said. I looked out in front of us and saw trees.
Dylan got out of the car and helped me out. When I stepped out I was blinded by darkness. Dylan covered my eyes with a black clothes.
"Dylan? I'm scared..." I said once I realized that Dylan wasn't holding onto me, to guide me.
I heard chuckling to my left and sighed, as I recognized that was Dylan's laugh.
"Don't worry, babe I'm right here." he said as he guided me with a protective arm around my waist.
We walked for a good five minutes until we stopped. Dylan let go of me and I started to panick again. I started flailing my arms everywhere until I hit something.
"Oww," Dylan hissed.
"Sorry, babe." I said.
"You hit me in the gut, babe." he breathed out.
"It's your fault for covering my eyes," I told him. He grunted and started to untie the blindfold.
"Ready?" he asked.
"Yes!" I squealed with excitement. I heard Dylan chuckle and then he took the blindfold off.
I was speechless.
We were at a lake and there were lights hanging in the trees above a table set for two. There was tree branches hanging over the lake and there were lights hanging off of them, making the water glisten. Red rose pedals spread on top of the lake water. The table was covered in a soft looking fabric. There was a candle lit in the middle with wine glasses set on each side of the table.
"You like it?" Dylan questioned.
"Uh...oh my gosh..." I trailed off. This can't be real...
"Come on let's eat," Dylan gestured over to the table. He pulled the seat out and I sat down at the elegant setting and Dylan sat across from me.
"This is wonderful, Dylan. Thank you." I said with a wide smile on my face. I looked at Dylan and he was smiling and the frowned.
"What's wrong?" I asked him while holding his hand.
"Nothing...nothing." he said unsurely.
"Ok..." I said.
Dylan and I looked into each other's eyes.
"Let's dance." Dylan said out of the blue. I smiled and nodded. Dylan got up and took my hands and lead me to the dock.
Dylan took out his ear phones and plugged them into his iphone. He messed around with it and put an ear plug into my ear and played a slow song.
