Paige's POV:
I rubbed my sweaty palms on my red wine dress and quickly sat down at the table.
My parents will be here any minute and so will Harry.
I really want this dinner to work out because I can't loose Harry. He has been really sweet to me and I'm more than lucky to have him.
Last time my parents met a guy that I really liked, he was kicked out of the house and I'm pretty sure that my parents threatened him to never see me again. Ryan, my ex-boyfriend that cheated on me, he sweet talked my parents and that's how he got passed them.
I was broken out of my thoughts when I heard someone sit in front of me.
I looked up and it was only Harry. I instantly smiled.
"Hey," he smiled.
Oh my gosh! Why is his smile so sexy!?
"Hi," I smiled.
"You look amazing tonight," Harry spoke looking at my body hungrily. I suddenly felt insecure. I started squirming under his stare.
"When are your parents coming?" Harry asked after a few moments of silence.
"Right now," I said as I spotted them walking into the restaurant.
Harry instantly stood up. "Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Carewall." Harry greeted with a kind smile.
My mom shook his hand and giggled like a little girl. "Harry, you're so strong," my mom giggled.
Oh, God help me now.
I stood up and smoothed out my dress. I walked over to my parents.
"Hi mom," I fake smiled. Everybody since my brothers left the house and my parents were too engrossed in their work, I have never been able to give my family a genuine smile. Except to Jill, but her and I are not on good terms right now.
"Hi darling." my mom hugged me. I looked over to see Harry and my father shaking hands. My dad was glaring straight into Harry's eyes. I could tell that my father was putting pressure into the hand shake 'cause Harry's face was scrunching up in pain.
I quickly walked over to him. "Hey dad," I said in a rush. My dad's grip on Harry loosened and I sighed in relief.
"Hi, honey." my dad greeted. "Let's sit." Mom ordered.
Harry let my parents walk ahead of us. He instantly grabbed my hand and interlaced our fingers. I felt bolts of electricity shoot through my body from his kind gesture.
I smiled up at him and kissed his cheek before my parents would see. Harry smiled and pulled out the chair for my mom. She smiled and giggled as she sat down. Then Harry rushed over to me and pulled my chair out. I sat down, but the seat wasn't under me. Meaning I fell to the floor instead. I let out a small shriek when I hit the cold floor.
