Paige's POV:

Today's the day.

Where Ali, Lily and I will walk up on that stage and sing our hearts out...

"Paige?" Harry speaks, waving his hands in front of my face. I blink a couple of times.

"Sorry. Zoned out." I smiled sheepishly.

"I can tell. So, where do you want to go?" He questioned.

Harry and I haven't been on a date since this competition thing took a hold of my life. He surprised me after school today by bringing me flowers and chocolates. He said he was very excited to see me sing tonight. I'm actually really nervous to have Harry hear me sing for the first time.

"Let's go to a...um...McDonalds is fine." I smile. He smiles back and pulls out of the school parking lot, heading to McDonalds.

The ride there consists of Harry humming to a song on the radio and me just listening to his angelic hum.

Once we get there, we walk inside. I go right for a table, but Harry takes my hand and leads me to the counter. He orders our food 'to go' and then rushes me out of the fast food place.

"Where are we going?" my curiosity gets the best of me.

"You'll see," he smiles a bright smile as he drives to the mystery area I'm not supposed to know about.

I just lean my head back and close my eyes, waiting to get to the destination.

A few minutes pass and I'm completely bored.

"Are we there yet?" I ask.

No answer.

"Harry?" I open my eyes and look over to him. He's already looking at me, smiling. My stomach does flips as I see his perfect dimple crested onto his cheek.

He looks away and continues to drive. I look out the window wishing that school wasn't ending so soon. Harry has to leave to go back on your and I'll be stuck in Jersey while he travels the world and sings to a bunch of gorgeous girls. And celebrities...oh god, I'm not going to take this very well.

"We're here." Harry cuts me out of my thoughts. I get out and look at where we're standing.

We're parked in the middle of a vacant parking lot. There's a field of perfectly cut grass and small flowers popping up from the ground making this picture seem more elaborate.

Harry grabs my hand and walks me down the the field of grass. There's a little pavement walk way up to a huge stage sitting directly in the middle of the grass.

He leads me up the path and up the steps to the big platform. It seems like an amazing place to perform. To sing. I can't believe I never saw this place before.

I walk up to the middle of the stage, standing there for a few seconds, imagining the sky dark, billions of people in front of me, shouting my name. Begging for me to sing. I can just imagine...

"You like it?" Harry asks. I turn my head to look at him. He's setting a blanket down to the left of me with our McDonalds bag and him, barefoot, on top of it.

"Yes. I love it." I say while taking off my flip flops off and sitting cross legged on the blanket next to Harry.

"Yeah I found this place when I started going to your school. It made me think of you." he said, taking a bite out of his burger.

"We didn't know each other that well," I stated, eating a fry.

"Remember the first day I came to school? You were hit with a textbook and I took you to the nurse's office. When you woke up we played 20 questions. Every thing you answered revolved around becoming a famous singer." He smiled while staring at me. I stared back at him remembering that time. It felt like a century ago. I was so shy, then.
