Episode 6

When Siddharth returned after having a bath, he saw Abhi on his bed and asked, "what are you doing in my room?"

"This is my room as well," said Abhi.

"No, this is my room," said Siddharth.

Shweta extended her arms and Abhi crawled towards her and rested his head on her lap and closed his eyes.

Siddharth looked at them in disbelief and turned and saw Kusum was standing on the balcony and was in deep thoughts and walked towards the balcony.

Baby doll, are you okay? asked Siddharth and she turned towards him and looked at him for some time and said, "I don't know who he is, I don't know who you are? I never tried to know who my in-laws were."

"But you are our best daughter-in-law," said Siddharth.

"No, I am not, when I don't know about you, how can I be best?" asked Kusum.

"Okay, let's go inside and talk," said Siddharth.

"I don't want to talk, I want to listen, I want to know," said Kusum.

Siddharth looked at her for some time and asked, "baby doll, what am I missing here? What happened there? Where is Jehan?"

"I am so stupid, I left him alone, I should have been with him," said Kusum and hugged him tightly and started crying.

"Why is she crying? What did you tell her?" shouted Shweta from inside and Kusum broke the hug and wiped off her tears and said, "lets go inside, otherwise they are going to assume things," and walked inside.

Sahaj came inside and said, "I want to sleep with you all."

"Go and sleep with your grandparents," said Abhi and thought for some time and said, "come here," and Sahaj went near him and Abhi asked, "are you sleepy?"

"Very sleepy," said Sahaj and Abhi had a smirk on his face, which Kusum and Siddharth noticed and nodded their heads in disbelief and Kusum asked, "what do you want to know?"

"I want to know how my sister spent her last minutes, was she happy or not," said Abhi and Sahaj looked at him confused.

"You sleep," said Abhi smiling and Sahaj laid on bed and closed his eyes.

"Abhi don't do that," said Kusum and looked at Shweta and she shrugged her shoulders.

Abhi waited till Sahaj went into deep sleep and shook him somewhat and asked, "what happened on that day? Was Arohi happy? Did you do the recording?"

"She said she wants to spend the night in her grandma's room, but the whole night she spent telling stories about her past. How her grandmother used to treat her like princess, how her brother was protective, how her dad was so protective that he used to ignore meetings just to be a supportive dad and how her mom used to pretend like a strict mom, while she was the one who used to pamper them more than others," said Sahaj.

"Why didn't you inform us about the marriage?" asked Abhi.

"At 4 am mamma said she wants to get married and with all the rituals and mom and dad said no, but she said it was her last wish and mom and dad walked out of the room and came after some time and said that the shops won't be open at this time, but mamma asked them to look in grandma's closet, there they found the red saree and bangles," said Sahaj.

"That was my saree, I wore it at my marriage and I think mom might have bought those bangles for her only, I don't remember buying them," said Shweta.

"Why didn't you record?" asked Abhi.

"Mamma forced mom to apply henna on her hand, but mom refused, but mamma blackmailed her and mom put a small dot on her hand and said this is more than enough for you and then with great difficulty we made her wear the red saree and then me and mom made her walk behind dad as a part of ritual and she enjoyed it so much and she was laughing like a small kid, she said she is very happy that everyone is happy," said Sahaj and turned to the other side.
