Kusum walked towards Tara's room and knocked on the door and Tara opened the door and said, "I am not interested in that cake anymore."
"Idiot," mumbled Kusum and Tara raised her brow.
"Listen Tara, Emma needs someone, you always wanted one daughter, don't you think it's time that you bond up with her?" asked Kusum.
"I am not a good mother," said Tara.
"She doesn't need a mother, she just needs a motherly figure," said Kusum.
"What do you want from me?" asked Tara.
"Hold her before she breaks down, I know Jehan is taking good care of her, but she is still new with those kids, she is thinking that she can handle them, but she forgot that they are not her kids and she can't force herself to be their mom," said Kusum.
"She should know that all our kids grew up on our dining table, not on beds," said Tara.
"You need to do that," said Kusum, smiled and left from there.
Tara thought for some time and walked towards Emma's room and saw she was standing on the balcony and looking away and went near her and asked, "what are you thinking?"
"I don't know what is happening to me, I am failing day by day," said Emma.
"Who said that?" asked Tara.
"See, I was not able to hold today, I started crying," said Emma.
"Nothing wrong with it, you are our daughter, you have every right to fight with us," said Tara.
"I am not fighting with you, I am crying," said Emma and started crying again and Tara hugged her and started caressing her hair and said, "learn to fight from Jiya, you have a good actor with you, you can do that."
"I have two good actors with me, you forgot about Shweta, she hits Aadi and pretends like she hasn't done anything," said Emma.
"See, how good you know about them, while our Nandu don't even know about our princess," said Tara.
"She is her mom," said Emma.
"You are the mom of these four kids," said Tara.
"I am not able to handle them, I can't stop their fight, I can't see them crying," said Emma.
"You know one thing Emma? Do you know where all these kids grew up?" asked Tara and Emma nodded her head as no.
"As soon as the breakfast is over and the table is cleaned, you have to drop them on the table, whoever is free will look after them, you don't have to take all the burden on you, they are our kids as well, and we also hold some responsibility towards them," said Tara, picking up Aadi in her arms.
"What if they fall?" asked Emma.
"Whenever you come to the table, what do you see?" asked Tara and Emma looked at her confused.
"One or the other person will always be at the table, eating or talking on mobile or Avni and me bitching around," said Tara, smiling, and started to go out.
"Can I join your team?" asked Emma.
"There are no teams here, Avni is ill, we can't leave her alone, that is why I make sure that she is around me all the time, so that whenever there is an emergency I can call Sagar, we don't bitch, we just bet," said Tara and left from there.
Emma turned and looked at Shweta and saw she was sleeping peacefully and thought, "can this house afford another death?"
"Where are you going, Nehan?" asked Nandini.
