"It has been more than one week, I think you have already inquired about me, can you share your number now?" asked Devika and he took her mobile and saved his number and said, "if you don't have a problem, can we have coffee in the evening? I will come to pick you up."
"I will wait," said Devika, walking towards her room to get ready.
Aakash came near Jehan and said, "never trust a person so easily when you don't know who they are."
"I am not going to marry her, trust me grandpa, I also need time, but I can't let her go, so I may do something, which you people are not going to like," said Jehan, walking outside.
"Is this our first date?" asked Devika.
"Devika, I want to make myself clear, I am not ready for marriage yet, but I want something," said Jehan.
"You want to know about me," said Devika, smiling.
"Yes, I want to know about you, but only when you are comfortable," said Jehan.
"What if I never want to reveal my past?" asked Devika.
"I can never marry you, because it is like risking my family," said Jehan, coming to his feet.
"Do you really think one orphan, simple girl can be a risk to your family?" asked Devika.
"Devi, I want to support you, but for that I need to know who you are," said Jehan.
"My past is painful, I can't reveal anything, and I don't want your sympathy, I want one partner who can stay with me," said Devika.
"I can't be a partner to a secretive person," said Jehan.
"I never asked you to be my partner, I just wanted a friend," said Devika.
"We should leave now," said Jehan, walking outside and Devika followed him.
Chirag was resting his head on Kusum's lap, while Kusum was caressing his hair.
Jehan came inside and Chirag made faces and Jehan climbed the bed and pushed Chirag with his leg and he fell on the floor and Kusum was about to shout at him, but Jehan poked his tongue and rested his head on Kusum's lap and said, "this is my mom, you go to your mom."
"This is my grandma," said Chirag and was about to hit Jehan, but Jehan held Chirag's hand and said, "you are still a little boy, you can't fight with me, it's better you go from here."
Chirag looked at him with a scowl and ran outside and Jehan put Kusum's hand on his hair and said, "I can't marry, but I want to support her, I need your support."
"You know your dad, I can't go against him," said Kusum and started caressing his hair.
"What do you want me to do then?" asked Jehan.
"Do what is good for you both and whatever you are planning may not be good for you," said Kusum.
"I don't want to marry her, nor do I want to leave her," said Jehan.
"Then marry her, if you can't adjust then let her go," said Kusum.
"Maybe it will never happen," said Jehan, closing his eyes.
"Jehan, remember one thing, we can't support everyone, we are humans, sometimes we have let them go, if they are written in our destiny, they will return to us," said Kusum.
"It means she is written in my destiny," said Jehan.
"If she is written in your destiny, why are you thinking so much?" asked Kusum.
"Because I am not ready yet," said Jehan.
"Jehan, I feel like you are thinking too much, past is past, now it's time to move on in your life," said Kusum, but saw Jehan was in deep sleep and kissed his forehead and said, "past is past Jehan, I know you are scared of marriage because you think they are going to use you like they used your mom, your mom was a strong woman and you are son of strong parents and I know you will never fail and you will never allow others to hurt this family."
