Dear Diane,
We get two days off a week, Sunday and Monday. It's an odd work schedule if you ask me, but it's so that people who are traveling on Saturday can still reach us.
I guess I haven't explained my work too much. I work scheduling other people's dream vacations. I never really wanted to be a travel agent, however, I really enjoy traveling so I thought this job would help me get the tips and tricks on how to travel on a budget. However, it seems like it really did the opposite, now I only make enough money to survive and probably won't be able to travel for a long time.
Things seem to wind down on the weekends, dream-wise for me. Today was pretty boring.
10:00AM- woke up from a dreamless sleep.
11:00AM- I finally get out of bed after doom-scrolling
11:30AM- thought about cleaning the house while I made coffee.
11:50AM- had to clean the kitchen because no clean mugs.
2:00PM- Realized I never drank my coffee after going on a cleaning spree (started with the mugs, ended with the floors and look! My living space is way better than it used to be!) Coffee was cold.
5:00PM- ordered burgers for delivery to celebrate clean house. (After grinding pokemon for a few hours)
And now you're caught up, my little journal friend.
If everyday were like this, maybe I would be happy. Maybe even start dating again? It's wonderful what a full night's sleep and no impending workday to look forward to will do to one's mind.
Until tomorrow, small journal friend.
Sincerely, Diane.
