The Healing

"Time heals", they said.

No, time does not heal all wounds. Some wounds do not really mend. Some pains do not really end. Time is an illusion. People telling us that wounds get well over time is a mere consolation.

We tend to blame ourselves with our unhealed wounds knowing that we should be fine over time. So we walk each day hiding our cuts, sores, and bruises. We get used to the same pains we endure everyday. Do all of them really heal? No, the deepest and most painful ones stay –we just get used with the pains they're giving. That at times, we seem not to feel an ache anymore. But also at times, they'll as if randomly bleed when in fact they might just got bigger or deeper without us realizing –because we so long thought they have already healed.

The truth is, some wounds could last this lifetime. Even scars may fade so much that we can barely recognize them, but they never completely go away. Some scars still cause problems years later.

No, time does not heal all wounds.
Because if it does, I wouldn't have been bleeding now.

And if it really does,
I wouldn't have written this down.
