I want this to be us. I want to walk home with you on every after-work nights. I want to hold your hand in the coldness of the streets and when the radiance from the street lights strikes overhead, it is you whom I want to see beside. Let's talk about everything under the moon and let all the shining celestial bodies above us witness a love without grand ceremonies and celebrations. Just you and me –walking home, talking about how our day went and what to eat when we get home.
I'd love the stop overs we'd make when we crave for street foods. I'd love silent glances when we walk past something hilarious. I'd also love the silent glances followed by laughter, the synchronized footsteps and the synchronized sighs we unconsciously make.
Darling, the demands of life can sometimes be tiring like long roads, and can sometimes be dim as the streets we walk through. But I'll always love how walking the dark alleys with someone you love is less tiring, less boring, and less scary.
God, if this is how I'm supposed to have all my after-work nights, I'd be more than glad.

For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up."
