It was at such a moment that Kumiko Kobashigawa would go against Napoleon Fay. He was a large man from France that challenged her in the liquid contest. Kumiko is already sat down in front of him, they are both ready to begin, but she felt an arm on her shoulder again. It was Nii Gina who was standing right beside her and spoke.
-Gina- «Do not concede defeat just yet, for the life that is rightfully mine shall not be relinquished, Kawabata Kumiko…»
And then before she could even respond back to her, she was already gone. Kumiko was mildly annoyed by Gina’s behavior. Was it her disrespect, no of course not, nor was it the way she spoke. The thing that fueled her anger was being called by the last name Kawabata as she hated that person more than anyone.
-Napoleon- «Nah we begin dear?»
-Kumiko K- «Ah yes of course, excuse my forgetfulness. So, let’s begin, how shall we decided who goes first?»
-Napoleon- «Uhhhhh, coin toss? Didn't I mention it?»
-Kumiko K- «Oh for sure why not! And my bad»
Napoleon Fay then asked in the air for a coin toss. A coin fell from the ceiling on their table. Metropolitan Dominion is able to hear everything through these walls, it is always like you are never alone. A terrifying emotion to have around for sure. The coin was then grabbed by Napoleon Fay.
-Napoleon- «Dear Kumiko… may I do the coin toss?»
-Kumiko K- «Oh for sure for sure no issue there! May I pick the side at least?»
-Napoleon- «Uh… sure…»
-Kumiko K- «Alright then I pick tails!»
Kumiko chose tails for a simple reason, there is a specific rumor that the coin tosses are never a 50/50 chance. Whilst a completely fair and unbiased coin toss would have a 50/50 chance of success such is never the case, Napoleon Fay’s hand, possible strength, air ventilation and even depending on the factor of Napoleon choosing to flip his hand. Kumiko would try to make an educated guess by observations to understand whether or not Napoleon would flip the coin whilst covered. Her guess was that he would turn his hand around so she chose the side with the smallest possibility of turning upwards, tails. The advantage was less than 1% but probability is still probability, Napoleon Fay tossed the coin in the air and catches it as it fell on the back of his palm.
Napoleon would turn his hand around revealing heads. Kumiko lost and therefore Napoleon Fay was going first.
-Napoleon- «… as you… see… I did not cheat…»
-Kumiko K- «Ah yeah yeah, gotcha Napoleon-San! But that’s a lie, you’re not a good liar are you?»
-Napoleon- «N-no… that would be… against the rules»
-Kumiko K- «No it wouldn’t, the coin toss is not part of this game so cheating with it would mean it is not cheating, that’s what you thought right?... Well I can’t do anything about it can I… go ahead… pick a liquid»
-Napoleon- «I choose Spirytus… 96%... alcohol… drink the shot…»
Kumiko was getting bothered by Napoleon’s way of speaking but she quickly chugged down the shot and began to think of what to make him drink. She quickly decided on what to say and spoke.
-Kumiko K- «Poison»
-MD- «Sorry miss Kobashigawa! That’s not allowed and therefore Mr. Fay gets the next round!»
-Napoleon- «Are you stupid or something? The rules made it very clear… that you can’t say poison!... Are you trying to cheat!?»
-Kumiko K- «No no! Just a bit forgetful hehe. (No it was not that, I wanted to see if I could pick a more vague topic first, for instance there are many different types of poison, some are harmful and some don’t even harm you directly, but because the topic was so vague I could not simply pick poison… I see. Then maybe I should try something really specific next, something unusual too… I wonder if that also counts…)»
-Napoleon- «Hey are you listening?! I said spiryrus again! Drink!»
-Kumiko K- «Ah sorry sorry! Hehehe. I’ll drink I’ll drink!»
She would say as she chugged down the second shot, she would start getting dizzy and her thinking would become fuzzy as the alcohol was flowing into her system. She decided on the next drink now.
-Kumiko K- «I pick… human tears»
And a shot of human tears would appear before Napoleon, he would laugh at her as he grabbed his own face in excitement. He’s lucky he got paired up with someone this idiotic!
-Napoleon- «Idiot!... Did you think I wouldn’t drink this because it’s disgusting?! That doesn’t stop meeee!»
Napoleon said before drinking the whole shot at once. He looked at her eyes and spoke again.
-Napoleon- «Spirytus again!»
And another shot of Spirytus would appear before her. Kumiko was getting really nervous, her stomach could not handle alcohol well, she never was doing well in handling alcohol. And now she had to take in all of these shots of Spirytus, Napoleon was doing well as it seemed. He was getting cocky too.
-Kumiko K- «I pick… Spirytus…»
And Napoleon would drink the shot that appeared before him the moment it appeared, Napoleon had an extremely high alcohol tolerance as he then again asked Metropolitan Dominion to bring Spirytus to Kumiko. She drank it once again, it all seemed like Kumiko would pass out and lose the match when suddenly her memory brought light to the solution! Napoleon kept on laughing at her considering there was nothing that Kumiko could do. But as he was laughing she took out a small knife she had on her pocket.
-Napoleon- «M… MD STOP HER, VIOLENCE IS-!»
But Metropolitan Dominion didn’t do anything, the reason to that is… Kumiko stabbed her right shoulder with the knife and said the words.
-Kumiko K- «Metropolitan Dominion… I ask for Napoleon Fay to drink… my blood…»
Napoleon was getting strangely afraid of that, her blood pouring out her shoulder made him feel fear. Why did Kobashigawa Kumiko do this? Well first up she made sure to see if vague topics were allowed and since they were not she probably could not pick something that could correlate to something that instantly kills Napoleon, then she chose something very specific in order to check out if it was possible to pick something that was from a human body. She chose her own blood as she remembered Napoleon flinching when she scratched her arm. Kumiko had found out Napoleon’s fear, he was afraid of blood. But why did she choose Spirytus? Well probability, Kumiko would not be able to last two more shots but she speculated that she could last one more so why not increase the likelihood of success by making Napoleon a bit more cocky and a bit more dizzy even by the smallest amount possible. Kumiko loved the disgusted/fearful expression/look that was painted on Napoleon’s face as he realised he had to confront his greatest fear in the worst way possible. With him having realised the disadvantageous position he was put in by his enemy the shot fot Spirytus came out of the table as she filled it with her blood.
-Kumiko K- «COME ON! It’s only blood why are you so afraid! Drink up! DRINK UP NAPOLEON. DRINK IT YOU FRENCH BASTARD!»
With those words Napoleon would become even more afraid but he tried his best to drink the blood. But with everything happening around him, his confidence breaking, the screaming and now the blood that stained his face, he could not stand it any longer as Napoleon fell down his chair, he was passed out… Kumiko backed away as she looked innocently at the top of the steel room they were in.
-Kumiko K- «… I won, hehe»
Napoleon Fay had lost, Kumiko earned a few points and ranked up. But she did not know by how much.
