Chapter 5 : The Two Disciples

When the cameras were destroyed and the leader of these two had lost connection to the group she decided to look back at Bunko and Koji. Her gaze could not be met with theirs.
-Boss- «Bunko. Koji. The time for you to leave has come. Be prepared to die for this sake. Because unless you risk the prize that you call life. It will be taken nonetheless»
-Bunko- «Boss who do ya take me for. I ain't afraid of nothing»
-Boss- «That cocky attitude of yours will get you killed in the first month Hoshino Bunko. I'd say humble yourself if you want to survive»
Bunko, her face was still drawn with that cocky attitude of hers. Her ego was blinding her a but too much. Yet it was hurt. Even by a little. Simply because she knows that her goal should be accomplished perfectly. A slight mistake could end up in the whole thing falling into shambles.
Koji on the other hand had much respect for his boss. His leader. Yet again. This was his problem. Trusting her too blindly. To his eyes the slight glimpse of her, even in a computer made him believe. It was her voice that was making his soul listen to it. Like... a puppet.
-Bunko- «I understand... ma'am. I'll be careful. I'll come out victorious»
-Koji- «Bunko-San. You're a bit too confident in yourself. Aren't you?»
-Bunko- «Who do you think I am Koji-Kun? Have you forgotten my ability?»
-Koji- «I have not forgotten about Dread Projection. It's a truly terrifying ability but you should underastimate no opponent»
-Bunko- «I get it, I get it Koji. But let's be fair for a moment here. Your own ability. Isn't close to mine»
-Koji- «Where the hell did that come from Bunko. It ain't like we are enemies or anything. We work together»
-Bunko- «Your point?»
-Koji- «... Bunko. You and I. Are a team of two. We are fighting alongside each other. Comparing the two of us between each other. I'd say is. Meaningless»
-Bunko- she sighed «Oh for fucks sake. Why are you always this absorbed in yourself. Let me have my moments»
-Koji- «Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say. Now boss asked us to go somewhere. The mission is more important than our little argument»
-Bunko- «What's our mission again?»
-Koji- «To ensure that the package is delivered to Archive Vinogradov safely»
After that the screen that was delivering the word of their boss to then shut down. Sawa Koji looked at the computer screen before turning back and walking with Hoshino Bunko. As they were leaving their secret meeting room. Bunko turned to Koji and asked him.
-Bunko- «Oi. Koji. I need to take a phone call. It's important. Mind waiting?»
Koji was taken aback by what she had said. Not because she needed to make a phone call. But because she asked for permission. He stared at her weirdly for a bit but then felt bad for himself. He thought. He shouldn't expect from her to only be mean and cocky all the time. So after a few seconds of silence he looked at her and nodded his head towards the right. There was a small hall there that she could make a phone call.
Koji was waiting for a few minutes. Eleven to be more precise. He looked at her as she walked out. He didn't ask her what phone call she was making. He just started walking at the exit. Bunko followed behind.
After they reached an end they appeared to be in a cave somewhere in Peru. They had to go to the airport in the city in order to leave for Japan.
-Bunko- «Remember. We can no longer communicate with boss. The mission should be followed step by step»
-Koji- «That's new coming from you. Since when did you care about the orders from boss»
-Bunko- «It's none of your business Koji. I'm just trying to check with you. You're not the smartest you know?»
-Koji- «Oh shut up. Let's just keep moving. We have to make sure the package is delivered to them. This artificial blessing that had the blood of a certain someone. Fortune's Luck is the ability. We should make sure he is the one who gets it. Otherwise this whole thing would go downhill»
-Bunko- «You know I know these stuff too you asshole?»
-Koji- «Nah you too dumb you dumb fuck»
-Bunko- «You're one to talk you scum»
They looked at each other dead in the eyes before they kept on walking for the airport. Upon arrival they stepped on the plane for Yamanashi. Taking their seats at the plane waiting for take off. After that a flight attendant came to them. The name on her uniform said Nii. Which was her last name. She had golden short hair and a skin colour that showed european descendance.
-Flight Attendant Nii- «Welcome to our flight you two. Thanks for picking us. Would you like some snacks? Or maybe to assist you with anything?»
Bunko stared at the flight attendant for a while before straight up ignoring her and looking out the window. Koji saw a small drop of sweat falling from her cheek. Koji again chose to ignore that. Instead turning to the flight attendant.
-Koji- «You know I'm pretty hungry yeah»
-Flight Attendant Nii- «That's great what would you like for me to bring you?»
-Koji- «You on the menu?»
-Flight Attendant Nii- «No sir. I am not on the menu. Please ask another one of our co-workers here if you ever need anything else»
She said before stepping away to take more orders.
-Bunko- «You truly are an idiot aren't you?»
-Koji- «What do you mean?»
-Bunko- «Why the hell do you have to hit on every woman you see?»
-Koji- «Hey works half the times. I've gone out with my fair share of women»
-Bunko- «... Dude you're short as hell how the fuck»
-Koji- «What can I say. I'm a charismatic fellow»
-Bunko- «...»
-Koji- «What's wrong?»
-Bunko- «Don't worry about it but I believe someone in the plane wants to blow it up»
-Koji- «What makes you say that?»
-Bunko- «I'm not sure. The person behind me seems awfully suspicious. I also noticed the weight of his bag is a bit peculiar. We should wait though. And when he tries to threaten anyone I'll stop him. You shouldn't. The risk of you revealing your ability is too great»
-Koji- «You're right. My ability isn't as subtle as yours»
After Koji said that the man stood up and revealed the bomb. He was telling.
-Highjacker- «Listen up you dimwits! I'm gonna blow this whole place up unless all of you place your money in this bag! Jewelry too!»
-Koji- «Bunko»
-Bunko- «On it»
At that time where they spoke. The bomber fell to the ground screaming in tears. Dread Projection. Once you're caught in the field of vision of the user at least once everything around you turns into your biggest fear. To the point where any person. No matter their mental strength could not take it.
-Koji- «You could've been nicer you know. Maybe not drive him to a mental hospital. Plus his yelling and screaming are annoying as hell»

At the end he was handcuffed and the bomb was taken away once the plane landed. Bunko and Koji stepping out of the plane.
-Koji- «How much was that?»
-Bunko- «From the moment we left the cave I say it was around six hours»
-Koji- «That's long damn. Well good news is. We are in Yamanashi»
-Bunko- «Yeah. That's true. In that case let's be certain that the artificial blessing reaches them safely. From what I know we aren't going to have a problem except from him. I'm sure he wants that too»
