"Come on Tini, ever since you got a boyfriend you started acting differently. We used to hang out all the time."He goes to grab my hands but I quickly stick them in my sweats.
"See it's stuff like that, you're being weird"
I tilt my head to the side as I wonder what actually goes on in his brain. I can only count on my hand the amount of times Sebastian and I hangout one-on-one.
"Sebastian, i dont think I'm weird. I think you're being weird "I counter argue.
"Tini, How is me expressing what I think about you, weird?"
We are talking outside near my car. I have a home game that starts in two hours and I'm just getting back from getting my lunch. I'm still benched from my concussion, but attendance is a must. My food is getting cold.
"Seb you do not like me. You don't even like black girls. You said it yourself." I lean back on my car. I can feel a headache coming on.
"It doesn't matter what I said in the past." he rolls his eyes before stepping up to me.
"It literally does"
"It doesn't because I've changed and I do like you. I guess seeing you actually have a boyfriend made me realize it" he places his hands on each side of me. Not this again.
He leans down making it to where we are face to face. "Let me take you out?" He has a lopsided grin on his face.
"Sebastian, I literally have a whole boyfriend. I am not going out with you." I say pushing him back, but he pulls my arm pulling me into him. "bro , if you keep this up Marc Anthonie is going to actually have your head, did you not learn the first time?" I push against him but he continues to hold me.
"Mannn forget Marc Anthonie" Pardon me
Say you'll go out with me and I'll let you go."
"Or i could knee you in yo nuts" i say before lifting my leg to do so he quickly lets go of me before i can make contact. Yeah exactly
I quickly move out of reach. I grab my bag from out of the back seat. "I suggest you leave me be so Marc won't mess up your little face, again." I add before walking my way to the gym.
Once I make it inside I take my seat on the sidelines as the girl warms up.
"Tini, how are we feeling?" Coach asks as she runs warm up drills with Liv and Sarah, the second libero.
"I feel okay, just having headaches every now and then, but better overall." I watch as the girls bump, set, and spike. I miss playing. It's been two weeks since I was benched and I want nothing more but to play again. Doing nothing is so boring. Caroline said I can play come next week depending on how my appointment goes on Monday.
"Happy to hear that, do we have a return date"
"Next week if everything goes well on Monday at my appointment."
