Percy was still a bit upset about the thing with Annabeth.

To be real, we are we a bit shaken.

Nobody could've thought Annabeth had a regret.

We were walking through the forest until we suddenly were by sand?

Like the beach? I couldn't see any water near.

But then I saw the pit.

The out that was, I'd assume Tartarus, where Kronos was.

Now that was scary, one small mistake, and we we're gonners.

"So.. we really are in the underworld," Grover says.

"You just realized that?" I asked in a sarcastic tone.

We were walking along the sand, keeping our distance from the pit.

Suddenly, Grovers' red shoes he'd been wearing were starting to fly.

... hold up, he's flying toward Tartarus!!!

Percy and I started sprinting after Grover.

Grover luckily stayed near the ground so we could get to him a little easier, but the bad part was we were feet away from the pit.

Percy and I managed to catch up to Grover, and we tried to pull him back.

The shoes kept going toward the pit, and the shoes started to fall off.

The shoes fell off and fell into the pit, or Tartarus.

We were sitting on the floor, and we started to get up when Percy, who still had the backpack from Ares, fell over while trying to stand up.

"Percy?" Grover asked.

I knew it wasn't Percy who made him fall back, but then what was it?

Then I realized.. The backpack from Ares.

Percy seemed to notice, too, and started taking the backpack off.

He opened the backpack and took out a lightning bolt thing.

"Zeus's bolt!" Grover said, "but how'd?"

"I don't know," Percy said.

"Well, we have it, let's get it to Hades so he can take it to mount olympus and the quest is over, oh and in the process get your mother back," I said.

"Yeah, what are we waiting for?" Percy says, this seemed the most joyed he'd been during the whole quest.

Maybe it was because he was so close to getting his mother back.

Anyway, that didn't matter right now. What mattered right now was getting to Hades and completing the quest.
