*Collin's POV*All of us quickly got ready to fight. There was no way around it. If we wanted to get our friends back, we had to take this guy down. I reached for my scythe, but then remember "Damnit I don't have my scythe" I needed someway to fight. Then it hit me. I activated my fire powers and focused in on my wrist.
When I looked I now had two daggers made of fire attached to my hands. I grinned to myself "Oh yeah, these will do nicely" We waited, seeing if who would make the first move. The Revenant sharped his blades on the floor and then *WHOOSH* he disappeared into the shadows on the floor. I could hear his sinister laugh "He's in the walls, HES IN THE GODDAMN WALLS" Screamed Jerry.
Then the Revenant burst through a dark portal from our right and jumped Ashton. I was quick to kick him off Ashton who would then use his blade to keep some distance away from him. We needed to make sure the Revenant didn't escape, if he did, he could alert the Hell lords of our presence and they'd try to stop us. And if that happened, we were screwed "DIANNE, LACI ON ME" Both were quick to follow up on the order "JERRY, QUILL HELP ASHTON" Jerry rushed the Revenant and slammed him against a wall. Quill gave Ashton some beans for protein "Collin what's your plan?" Asked Laci. We huddled them up and explained "Ok Dianne, I need you to create a dome around the roof that way he has no where to run, Laci, Is there a way you could create some oil?" Laci pondered for a moment "I think I got just the thing" she said. I smiled "Excellent, on my signal, Dianne make the dome, Laci spray it with the oil." They both nodded and we rejoined the battle. Ashton had recovered and the Revenant was slipping and take pot shots at Jerry and Quill where he can when he could. I popped out my fire daggers and started to go one to one with the Revenant. I needed to keep him distracted. When Dianne encloses the roof, there will be a split second of darkness and in it, that Revenant could teleport out of here. I need to make sure I have him pinned down before that happens. I was on the offensive slashing at his chest. The Revenant would evade every hit before going for a go at my neck. I ducked and slipped between his legs and stabbed him in the shoulder. The Revenant groaned in pain. Boom, created a weak spot. The Revenant turned around proceeded to slash me in the leg. It stung, but it was nothing compared to any other injury I've experienced before. I powered through it and jabbed at his blades. *TSSSSSS* I looked at his left blade and saw I had actually cut in half with the flames. His blades are mortal, titanium, steel, something like that, which means they can be broken. I went in to attack his other blade, but the Revenant teleported behind me and slashed at my back. I turned and tried again. Same thing. I eyed Jerry and he simply nodded. I went in like I was gonna do it a third time and when the Revenant teleported, I screamed "JERRY NOW" The 2nd portal opened and the Revenant appeared behind me. This time he went for the head, but Jerry came in and slammed him to the ground before he had the chance "Hold him" I said. The Revenant struggled to get free, but it didn't matter "Dianne, Laci now" Dianne created a dark dome on the top of the roof made of bones and Laci sprayed it with a dark oil. I moved over to the oil and lit it with my fire.
The fire quickly spread to the rest of the dome, until we were are blazed in its light. There was very little shade besides the small shadows beneath are feet. The Revenant was going nowhere. I walked over to him and Jerry. The Revenant was still trying to break free "LET ME GO, MY MASTERS WILL FREE ME" He screamed. Something told me take off his mask, so I slowly reached and took off his mask. We all gasped. The one who's been attacking us all along was no older then us. It was a young teenage boy with curly hair and growing side burns. I kinda felt bad for him. It wasn't his fault the way he was, Revenants were just made evil but those of higher power. Then an idea hit me "Dianne, it's true Revenants become this way after a being of high power corrupts them right?" Dianne said "Yeah, why?" I looked back at the boy, his eyes filled with anger "Is there anyway to 'uncorrupt' them?" Dianne thought for a moment and said concerned "Its never been done before, I dont know if I can do it" I held her hand "I know you can do it, I saw you, bring my body back to life, Lucifers blood may have filled me, but your heart was the spark that pulled me back" A tear ran down her face "Ok let's do this" she said. Dianne moved over to the boy and black whisps formed around him. The tendrils sinked into his as Dianne waved her arms around the Revenant. She would then make a clenching motion with her hands and pulled her arm back. From the boys chest came a dark oily blob.
The boys body began to glow as the natural color of his skin returned to a Caucasian white. His hair began to turn brown and his wounds healed. He gasped awake and looked around rapidly "Wher- where am I, WHO ARE YOU" He said standing up "Woah, woah buddy calm down, listen I don't know how to tell you this but, you died sometime ago and some bad people corrupted your soul, thankfully we were able to bring you back, now, can you give us your name?" The boy calmed down and gave a deep breath "My name is Dorian"........
