Looking at the crescent moon from different galaxies
They were captured on decaying pages of the stories we shared
Or hidden in plain sight in the kaleidoscope of melodies
Recalling how the presence of a full moon, was suddenly spared

Under this constellation, our paths once intertwined
Strings engraved with promises, but never collide
As I waited on a barren planet, your orbit redefined
Our attempts to realign only led us further divide

When your memory found a way to cross my night
I wondered if the same lunar beam was still as bright
Dreaming that I could be nestled within the moonlight
Even after endless of what if's, and the absent of foresight

Goddess of time stole our future before we could even plan it,
Now you'll just find waving white flag on the same planet
I'll wish upon forgiveness to the shooting star scene
Even though I've changed, the past, it always has been

I whispered softly in this limitless sky,
With these remained stardust, I've truly tried
But the teardrops on my guitar has dried
On a withering December, I let the starlight die
