Aria and Fred were sneaking around the castle to have some quality time alone as a couple.
It was hard.
Umbridge had been clear about what the distance should be between two students in love and also they couldn't show the whole school their relationship. George was the only one who knew about it.
Also, both had classes to attend and in their free time Fred was training for the quidditch games and Aria was studying. When they were together they weren't usually alone, since they spent time in the room of requirement with the other students.
That's why Fred always used secret passages to see Aria and sneak around Hogwarts.

Now they were in the astronomy tower, eating some sweets and talking as Aria laid in his arms.
"You can come to New York this summer, without school we will spend more time together" Said Aria opening a chocolate frog.
"Sounds great to me. I can't wait to meet your family, but I have to admit that I hope your dad likes me"
She giggled.
"You don't have to worry. My dad is protective but he's really sweet, plus you make me so happy, so he will adore you"
He kissed the top of her head.
"I want to be worth. But tell me more about your family"
"Let's say that my family is unconventional, you already know that my dad is a werewolf and my mom a wizard, they work for an art museum. My uncles are both wizards and the oldest of them is the principal of a wizarding school in America. He is married to a vampire and I have two oldest cousins, both vampires. That's it"
Fred blinked.
"Wow, I really got the most unique wizard in the world, and for that reason, I have something for you" Said smiling as Aria looked at him, confused.
"What?"
Fred took outside of his pocket a glass disk and handed it to her.
She looked at it and saw a little snowflake in there.
"Do you remember our first kiss? It was snowing. After the kiss I decided to conserve a snowflake to remember that moment, so I used a spell and now you have a snowflake that will never melt. Every time you look at it, you can think about us"
She was mouth opened.
"It's the best gift you could ever give me, thanks" Said kissing him.
Fred smiled proudly, holding her closer.

After hours of chatting and cuddling, it was time for them to go to their common rooms.
Aria and Fred walked separately to their own common rooms but when Aria entered the Slytherin's one, all the students looked furious or disappointed at her.
Draco was standing in front of everyone with his arms crossed.
"You've been spending a lot of time with those Gryffindors lately, Aria. Are you sure you remember which house you truly belong to?"
"What are you talking about? I can have friends from different houses too" Roared Aria in her defense.
Draco furrowed his eyebrows.
"Aria, have you forgotten who your true friends are - asked with an arrogant smirk - Or is your loyalty shifting to those lowly Gryffindors?"
"Don't call them like that, you are just envy of their capabilities. Are you really that weak to belittle others to shine?"
Her housemates gasped in shook at their fight as Aria smirked provoking Draco.
"I can't believe you would defend those blood traitors. You've clearly forgotten your priorities as a true member of Slytherin"
"My priorities always were the ones from our house founder: ambition, resourcefulness, determination, and cleverness" Said Aria standing firm and proud, not letting Draco embarrass her.
"You can't deny your true nature, Aria. A member of Slytherin always sticks with their own kind"
"Or?" Asked her raising an eyebrow as he leaned closer to her face.
"Or you can face the consequences and be outcast by your own house. I suggest you make the right choice, Aria" She scoffed.
"You can't outcast me"
"You think you're invincible, Aria? You're just as much of a pawn as the rest of us. Don't let those Gryffindors cloud your judgement"
"You were always terrible at chess, Draco. Right now I can be a little pawn, but one day I'll be a queen. You shouldn't underestimate me" Said sharply to Draco, driving him mad, he hated her fastidious tone and couldn't let her embarrass him.
"You think you can outsmart me, Aria? - he chuckled - You're just another arrogant little snake who will eventually fall at my feet"
"I'd rather die than be submitted by you, Umbridge or anyone from the dark side"
"You'll see. One day, you'll realize that true power lies with the Dark Lord. And I'll be there to welcome you with open arms"
"If Dark Lord's fellas are incapable like you, I wouldn't worry too much"
Draco glared at her.
"Until then, you are not welcomed here in the Slytherin common room. You are not one of us anymore. We reject you"
Aria blinked in surprise as the other Slytherins nodded.
"And where I'm supposed to stay?"
Draco sneered, his cold sneer starting to melt under Aria's scorching glare.
"You were always naive for thinking you could fit in with the Slytherins. Now it's not our problem where you will stay"
"I'm more Slytherin than you could ever be"
"Funny, I don't see any loyalty to your precious house from where I'm standing"
She simply sighed and took her bag.
"Fine, I won't enter your common room anymore, but you will beg for me to come back"
"You seem to have forgotten who holds the power here, Aria. We'll see who begs for who once the Dark Lord takes over"
