[Third Person POV]
As the full moon cast an eerie glow over Mystic Falls, Josie awoke found herself at the deserted train station. she wandered aimlessly along the deserted platform, her thoughts consumed by doubt and uncertainty.
Lost in her thoughts, Josie didn't notice the faint rumble growing louder until it was too late but somebody did. A freight train thundered down the tracks, its headlights slicing through the darkness like twin beams of warning. Startled, Josie stumbled backward, her heart racing as adrenaline surged through her veins.
With her senses on high alert, Josie realized she was standing perilously close to the edge of the platform. Panic seized her as the train hurtled closer, its massive form a blur of steel and speed. In a desperate bid to escape the oncoming danger, Josie stretched out to the opposite direction failing to do so instead stumbling right onto the tracks. She wasn't used to her wolf legs yet.
In a heartbeat, time seemed to slow as the white body of a wolf surged forth, creating a protective barrier Infront of her. The air crackled with energy as the train collided with the invisible force field, sending sparks flying in all directions. For a fleeting moment, Josie feared the worst, though she didn't expect the train to fall over the barrier and collide with her cursed body.
Breathless and trembling, Hope staggered backward, her eyes wide with disbelief. She had narrowly escaped a potentially fatal encounter, saved only by her quick reflexes and the untapped potential of her magic. though she failed to save her beloved lover. As the train conductor rushed to her side.
[Hope's POV]
"JOSIE!!" I failed to protect her... I walked up to where the train landed on Josie. her mangled wolf body lying under the train. I use my magic to lift the train up off of her body as the train conductor stares in horror. I shift into my wolf form and throw what was left of Josie on my back. I grab the train conductor softly in my mouth to bring him back to the school... After all we can't have a normie knowing about us......
