The Doctor

[Hope's POV]
"Hope, It hurts." That was the last thing Josie said until Dr. Saltzman and Aunt Freya ran into our bedroom. They took us to a veterinary office because a girl that works there also deals with Supernaturals. Josie laid her head in my lap and fell asleep on the way there.

"Don't wake her up. Just carry her in if you can." Aunt Freya told me. "I've known this girl for awhile. I used to babysit her." Dr. Saltzman said. We walked in and the nurse up front spoke to us. "What can I do for you four?" He asked "I would like to see Dr. Sook-hee please" Dr. Saltzman spoke with a soft voice. "You can't see her without an animal-" Someone burst out the door. "Alaric!" She looked at the nurse. "Let them back please." We all went back with her to an upstairs room where there was a huge window that peered over the roof and you can see the night sky. Aunt Freya spoke first. "Alaric's daughter is pregnant and she was feeling a bit of pain earlier today around 3 pm." She put her hand on my shoulder and I put Josie on the bed and looked out the open window. "Mhm. I see" The doctor left the room and went to a closet at the bottom of the stairs. Dr. Saltzman and Aunt Freya were talking and I looked at them. "Hope? You need something?" Aunt Freya asked while Dr. Saltzman went to help Dr. Sook-hee carry a machine up the stairs. "I'm figetty I need to wolf out." Dr. Sook-hee came in and said "There's about 6 acres of land behind that line of trees. We own it so nobody is out there. You can leave your clothes on the roof." I looked out the window "Thank you I'll be back soon" I started to leave. "No rush we might be here awhile." I smiled and went to the corner of the roof where I wasn't visible from the windows and took my clothes off. After I shifted I jumped off the roof and ran around the huge chunk of land.

When I came back I listened to the Doctor talk to Aunt Freya and Dr. Saltzman. "The twins will be born within 72 hours. Since they are a new species of supernatural they grew faster. Basically they are Syphoner Tribrids so they are syphoning energy from each other and from Josie." I put my clothes on and sat on the roof. Smiling up at the moon. "Hope! Your back!" My Aunt Freya said and crawled out on the roof and sat next to me. "Aunt Freya is it bad that Josie is having the babies early?" I asked. "No but they are using up her energy. It's a boy and a girl." I smiled to myself and we laid on the roof for the night so Dr. Saltzman can have the recliner.

I woke up to Josie's voice next to my ear. "Morning gargoyle" Josie said to me and laughed. I was next to the window and she was inside. "Hey baby. How are you feeling?" I got up and crawled into bed with Josie. "Happy" she gave me a cheesy grin. "Where is Aunt Freya and Dr. Saltzman?" I asked and sat up against the headboard. "They went to the Mystic Grill to get breakfast and milkshakes." She wrapped her arms around me and sat there. I put my hand on her stomach just in time to feel a kick. "Can the boys name be Jody?" Josie asked. "Of course. Any ideas for the girl?" We heard a knock on the door. "Come in!" I yelled. Dr. Sook-hee came in. "I'm looking at the charts and you could go into labor by the end of today." Josie looked at me and squeezed my hand. "It's okay Jo." We looked at the doctor. "Thanks Dr. Sook-hee." I said "Anytime." She simply replied and left. I looked at Josie. "How about Nikki for the girl After my dad?" She looked up at me. "That's a beautiful name Hope." She said and smiled. "It's settled then Jody and Nikki"

A little while later Dr. Saltzman and Freya came back with food. We all are are breakfast together and we told them what we were going to name the babies. Jody and Nikki Mikaelson. We also decided that in the future when we get married Josie is going to take my name since we all know Lizzie would fight to keep theirs.
