"Or perhaps Rebekah, or Finn," Aurelia continued, undeterred. "I could bond with Rebekah over shopping, or maybe cook with Finn. He seemed quite keen on watching Hell's Kitchen with me."

Klaus rolled his eyes at the mention of Finn. "Finn, boring as ever," he commented dismissively.

"Well, he certainly seems more fun than you," Aurelia retorted, her fondness for Finn evident. Despite his intimidating demeanor, she had found a gentle side to him that she appreciated.

"Is that so, love? I can be fun, given the chance," Klaus teased, enjoying the way her cheeks flushed crimson at his words.

"Piss off," Aurelia replied, her quick retort revealing her inability to think of a better response in the heat of the moment.

The car hummed along the open road, a symphony of asphalt and engine noise that filled the air. Aurelia, reluctantly dragged along on this impromptu road trip, couldn't help but find a hint of amusement in the situation. After all, how often did one find themselves on a cross-country journey with a group of supernatural beings?

Aurelia rolled her eyes, but there was a hint of admiration in her expression. "Right, right. Well, I suppose I can't argue with that," she conceded, a playful smile tugging at the corners of her lips.

And as they finally arrived at their destination, the tension in the air was palpable. With the werewolves within reach, Stefan and Klaus prepared to hunt.
