chapter 1

    Katsuki never liked the idea of a once quirkless little boy now a future hero. It made him angry. He had to go through hell and back with training and the hate for heros and Izuku had hidden his quirk his whole life. He got off too easy. He just wanted to feel like he was better than someone. After a while at UA, he learned a lot, like Izuku's quirk origin. He didn't belive it for a while, but after a lot of fights and building trust he and Izuku were no longer "enimes".

    It was hard to comprehend that Izuku of all people was stronger than him. After Izuku left UA and started hiding from all for one, Katsuki was the one to force him to come back. He had to apologize, which is not his strong suit. Izuku listened and went back to UA.

    After a while Katsuki and Izuku stopped fighting, well only to train. They were both getting stronger and more cautious. You know, villains could attack at any moment and they had no time to waste. They weren't exactly friends, maybe aquententes. Frenemies? They talked when they needed to and acknowledged each other. Sometimes they arugued and sometimes they hung out with their friends all together.  It was nice for a while. They knew.

    After some time, Katsuki started realizing that everyone was dating. He didn't take it seriously for a few weeks, then he realized he was one of the handful that wasn't in love. Kirishima and Mina, Denki and Jirou, Momo and Shoto, Tokoyami and Tsu, Tenya and some crazy 1-b chick, Ojirou and Hakugure, even some extras from 1-b started hooking up, and on top of that Aizawa and Mic started to go out, in secret of course. Katsuki felt like he was being left behind. His friends were always too busy to hangout. He was so bored always sitting in his dorm waiting for villains to attack and doing school, sometimes training with Izuku.

    Finally one day after training he could talk to the only person he trusted, Kirishima. They had been talking about relationships and how good he was with Mina. This conversation was different from any that he'd had before, it was more important

    "I don't know, I just want to know what it feels like." Katsuki said to Kirishima. He needed to get it off his chest and he felt like he could trust his sorta newly found friend.

    "What, sex?" Kirishima didn't understand.

    "WHAT? NO. Like dating, dumbass." Kirishima laughed and continued.

    "Its kind of like you feel... Huh how do I say this without being cringe.. I guess you feel a sense of caring and like you would do anything for them. Have you ever felt like that with a chick?" Bakugou thought for a second, not knowing what to say.

    "Well, not with any girls I've met." Kirishima looked comfused.

    "What about dudes?" Katsuki looked stunned, or maybe even angry, at the statement. Not knowing what to respond with. Kirishima took his friends look and immediately continued.

    "Dude I'm not gonna judge you, its totally fine."

   " I don't know, I guess? Maybe I've thought about it more than girls." He said this rather softly, which was different from him. He didnt want to get in trouble.

    After a while of talking more, Kirishima and Katsuki realized he probably fell under the queen umbrella. Katsuki didn't take the information well. It's not like he was homophobic, it was just he only knew a few gay people. Who knows what would've happened if a pro hero was outed as gay. He didn't take the information good, at the end the conversation barley talking with an upset expression. Kirishima took the hint and backed off, worried about his friend.

    It had been a few months since that conversation, and he hadn't told anyone. Not even updating Kirishima. He didn't like being so open about his personal life. He just wanted for everything about him to be a secret. He couldn't even fathom that he could've been gay.

    He couldn't be gay, no. A future MALE pro-hero dating a MAN? No way. That's blasphemy. Katsuki started to hate himself. He shut himself out from everyone, only leaving his dorm when he absolutely needed to.

    One night after a heavily melatonin indused sleep, Bakugou had a dream. Nothing weird, not a wet dream, not a nightmare. It was different from any dream he'd ever had. He was being hugged. There was laughter and Katsuki felt happy for the first time in a while. It was a nice dream, wanting to stay forever. Of course, it wasn't very clear, like most dreams are blurry and hard to understand during. But this one was different there was something about..

     He woke up naturally, turning his head and looking to his clock. 4:37. Still early. He started to turn on his stomach, getting back into a comfortable position. He realized he could either stay awake or take more melatonin because he was not going to sleep naturally. But if he did take more melatonin, he wouldn't wake up on time. He laid in bed thinking about what he was dreaming about. His eyes widening when he came to the stomach dropping realization.

    It was Izuku.
