Chapter4: My Fault

Colleen's POV:

I felt all the eyes of everyone turn to me. That's it I can't take it anymore! I ran to the nearest bathroom,sobbing so hard that I struggled to breathe.

Knock knock

"Who is it?" I said trying not to choke on my tears.

"Um so I don't really think I'm allowed in here so can we talk outside?"

"KORY!" I smiled, flung open the door and gave him a giant hug. Then he pulled away.
" so what happened back there?" He said
"Rachel's missing and it's all my fault." I frowned
" How do you know who to blame, Colleen?"
" I should've checked where she was." I choked. On the verge of tears.
" Colleen, it's not your fault! Get that through your head woman!"
"It's just that-"
"Colleen it's not your fault" he repeated firmly."Now come on back to the party and have some fun!" He demanded.

"Okay, okay!" I laughed. Oh what would I do without a friend like him?

***HOME***

I walked to our bedroom with Josh by my side. "I love you Josh" I whispered in his ear.
"Oh, but I love you more" I hear him faintly whisper.

Beep. Beep.

My alarm went off and I groggily slapped the off button.
" Hey ,Snoopy!" I sung.
" Morning, Fraggle!" He replied.
I went to go make coffee when I spotted a note on the fridge.
"Josh?" I tapped his shoulder.
"Yea?"
"What's this?" I said pulling the note off the fridge.
"I don't know, I didn't notice it." He said returning to baking his kale chips.
The note read:
If you want Rachel back, give me Josh,
If you want Josh back, give me Kory,
If you want Kory, give me you.
Go to your room for my number if you decide to save Rachel.

I just stared at the note for minutes until I just burst out crying.
"Colleen, whats wrong?" Josh said.
I just shook my head. "Josh, just know I'll always love you." I smiled at him.
"I'll love you forever and more." he replied

"I'm just going to call Kory to come over later if that okay with you, Josh?" I lied, walking to our room
"Of course."
