Chapter7: Not funny

*Colleen's POV*
"Just call me Dev"
"Ok Dev I want to know what you want from me please"
"Break up with Josh"
"WHAT?!"
"Josh doesn't want you"
*silence*
"So why do you have to kidnap Rachel and then take me?"
"Josh only likes you because your beautiful." He said with a smirk.
"What?" I yell. MAN this 'Dev' is SO intimidating! And he's so unhelpful gosh.

*DING*
My phone dinged and of course it was Josh!
Josh:OH MY GOSH COLLEEN! Why are you going to the car that Rachel was in?

Colleen: I'm sorry, Josh! the note he left scared me and I didn't want to let you go!

Josh: Wait... Hold up... He? Note? Let me go?

Colleen: Well he won't tell me his name but he said I can call him Dev

Josh: What did this 'Dev' do?

Colleen: He took Rachel and left the note.

Josh: What note?

Colleen: The one on the fridge that I asked you about this morning.

Josh: What did it say 😡😭

"Who are you texting?" Dev questioned.
"Um N.. No one." I said quickly in response.

Josh: COLLEEN? Where are you? I'm coming !

Colleen: I uh have to gooooo

Josh: wait what no tell me where you are COLLEEN! Colleen? Colleen. Ok then text me when you can I'll be waiting.

"I SAID WHO ARE YOU TEXTING!" He yelled this time and it frightened me. His booming voice echoed in my ears. He slapped me and punched my head.
I suddenly felt a throbbing pain on the side of my head where Dev hit me. I felt lightheaded and dizzy. My vision was going blurry. I felt like I was spinning around and round. Till finally the darkness took over my sight and I collapsed.

*Josh's POV*
I see someone walking towards me, covered in scratches and bruises. She looks is so much pain so I walk to her.

"Hi I'm Josh, are you alright?" I put my hand out.

"Josh, it's me! Rachel. No I'm not alright CLEARLY" Rachel says looking down at her scratches and cuts.

"Oh my gosh Rachel you look A MESS!" I've gotta tell Colleen that your here! Tell me what happened?"

"Woah woah woah one question at a time. Well thanks I totally haven't realized that I'm a mess at all!" She
said sarcastically.

"Sorry." I snickered.

"Umm well Colleen.. Well I just saw her"

"Oh." Is all that came out of my mouth.

"She said that you were in here and to tell you everything and then she hugged me and said be careful and bye Rachel."

"Wait what." I looked up at her this time.

"Then she walked towards the car that I was in when I was missing."

"What!" I raised my voice a little louder.

"I didn't know why she didn't even look back." She said and looked down at her feet.

"Rachel. This morning she said she was calling Kory to come over later right after she was balling her eyes out."

"I'll call Kory." She said right away.

*RACHEL'S POV*

"Hey Kory its Rachel!" I said enthusiastically.

"OH MY GOD RACHEL COLLEEN HAS BEEN WORRYING ABOUT YOU SO MUCH WE ALL MISS YOU COLLEEN WAS BLAMING HER SELF AND EVERYTHING!" He yelled through the phone.

"Oh. W.. Well umm apparently she called you this morning to come over and she was acting really suspicious."

"No. She didn't call me this morning."

"Well what do we do she went in the car with the guy who had me hostage!"

"WHAT! Try texting or calling her or something. Wait really. No. You guys are so good at pranking me. Pshhh. Sure."

"No Kory this is for real."

"NO IT ISN'T haha very funny guys!" He said nervously.

"Kory..."

He was now sobbing really hard.

"Rachel SHE IS MY BEST FRIEND we HAVE to find her NOW I'm coming over now."
And he hung up.

Josh was trying to hold in the tears and stay strong.

"Josh it's okay, we'll find her. I promise."

He smiles a little and we get in the car.

When we get home. Josh texts Colleen.
He waited for a few minutes.

Appears on his phone.
