Galand groans using his halberd to keep the star at bay. Celeste's eyes narrow and she slowly closes her hand adding more power. "Galand, I'll tell you one last time, leave." Celeste says. "Wow! Lady Celeste is keeping the Demon back!" Arthur beams. "Where was that power when they were fighting Hendrickson?" Hawk asks. "Your power..." Galand manages to dodge the attack causing it to hit the ground behind him. Celeste gasps seeing Galand above her. "is weak compared to what it was 3,000 years ago!" He raises his halberd above his head preparing to attack Celeste with it. Once he got closer to the ground he slammed his halberd down onto Celeste, causing dust to cover the battlefield. Everyone watches waiting to see what happened to Celeste.
There was another twinkle in the sky and another beam shot out toward Galand. The Demon once again dodges the attack. "Just lie to him he said." Celeste mumbles, holding a hand out to decrease the gravity around Galand. "What's this?" Galand grunts struggling to stay up. "Gravity manipulation. Now plummet." Celeste closes her fist and Galand plummets to the ground. "Amazing!" A knight says. "Lady Celeste singlehandedly took down the Demon." Another says, amazed. Celeste lets out a sigh and turns to Meliodas for help. "Celeste! Look out!" Meliodas warns her and Galand cackles. "Huh?" She looks up and spots Galand's halberd flying at her. Celeste accidentally releases Galand and unsheathes her sword to knock the halberd away. Galand charges at Celeste and goes in for a kick but her wings sprout and she flies away from Galand. Meliodas exclaims as he lunges at Galand now in his Demon form. The armored Demon raises his arm to block Meliodas' sword.
"Whoa! Meliodas' Power Level jumped to 4,400." Hawk says. Slader runs over to Merlin and pulls her out of the way. "4,400 is still not enough." Celeste says to herself and drops down with her sword raised. Galand raises his other hand to block her. "Follow Sir Meliodas and Lady Celeste's lead!" A knight tells the other. The Holy Knights let out battle cries and charged at Galand. "Hmm?" Galand notices the knights and throws the Demon and Goddess away. He effortlessly takes out the knights. Meliodas and Celeste block the attacks as best as they can. Celeste holds her sword up and uses her free arm to brace it as Galand puts all his strength into his swings. Meliodas' arms get sliced off by Galand. Celeste hears metal clang on the ground and feels hot liquid running down her arm.
She looks down and spots the blade of her sword on the ground with blood splattered on it, her eyes continue searching the ground until she notices her severed hand lying a few feet away from the blade. The Goddess gasps and looks at her now broken sword with wide eyes. She then looked at her arm where her hand was now covered in crimson liquid that spewed from her wound. "Oh no! Sir Meliodas and Lady Celeste are hurt!" Elizabeth shouts. Celeste had little time to react before Galand slammed his halberd into her side. The blade of the halberd tore her clothes and left a large gash on her side. Celeste slammed into the cube Elizabeth and Hawk were in causing them to gasp. Celeste groans and faceplants onto the ground. "Lady Celeste?" Elizabeth looks at the goddess worried.
"Oh no!" Elizabeth gasps when she doesn't get a response. "This is insane, he's way too powerful!" Hawk exclaims. "Please end this, leave here, and stop killing everyone!" Elizabeth yells. "Guess there's no choice, I'm gonna have to do it." Meliodas says as his demon mark grows bigger. "If this happens now while Merlin's spell is still in effect." He says as darkness comes out of his shoulders and attaches his arms. "Did you just see that?" Elizabeth asks. "Hm?" Galand hums looking at Meliodas who is walking towards him. "Hey, I haven't seen him like that since the fighting festival." Hawk says. At this point Meliodas had dark magic coming out of his hand and around his shoulder where his arms had reattached. "That appearance of his." Galand says. "His power level's 13,000! Oh, man!" Hawk exclaims.
Meliodas kicks Galand in his stomach causing him to grunt. He continues attacking Galand which creates a strong wind. Diane takes cover behind the cubes and Hawk screams. Diane looks at Meliodas shouting, "Captain!" Meliodas just kept hitting Galand with his sword until he stopped. He hunches over blood oozing from his mouth. Diane looks at Meliodas, "Are you ok?" She asks. "Don't let the darkness swallow you. Keep it under control." He mumbles. "What is it you're mumbling about?" Galand asks tilting his head slightly. Meliodas raises his right hand and Galand is surrounded by darkness which causes him to yell in 'pain'. "This is unbelievable somehow Meliodas is controlling all that power." Hawk states the obvious. "Ah, wait. This dark power of yours is... Who would've thought..." Galand starts hunching over.
"that it would weaken to this degree?!" Galand yelled then threw his spear at Meliodas which pierced through his stomach. Everyone gasps at the sight. Galand leaps towards Meliodas and says, "Now I've lost interest. Time can be painfully cruel can't it?" Galand asks as he walks up to Meliodas and grabs the handle of his halberd "Sir Meliodas!" Elizabeth yells. "The traitorous warrior, Meliodas!" Galand starts as he rips the halberd from Meliodas' chest causing the blonde to groan in pain. "And you other pathetic fools who would even dare to stand against us! May you spend the afterlife regretting your pitiful weakness!" Galand yells as he raises his weapon and plunges it into Meliodas' skull.
"Cap-" Diane calls out but gasps when Galand slices through her left shoulder he then goes on to stab Slader and decapitates Merlin's head causing it to roll away but it didn't get far before Galand steps on it crushing it as he walks to the cubes protecting Elizabeth, Arthur, and Hawk. He stabs the motionless Celeste in the head and then starts attacking the cubes causing Hawk to scream and Elizabeth to flinch away. Magic was shot at him causing him to take a few steps back. "Perfect Cube, a secret technique from the demon realm, somehow even I'm having a hard time destroying it, well well today's your lucky day." Galand starts as Elizabeth, Hawk, and Arthur start crying. "After all very few who have ever stood before me lived to tell the tale." He says. "Farewell." He says before flying away.

I have a thing for putting some of my OCs in near death situation, mainly just Mitsuri and Celeste so uh, there might be more to come. 😗✌️ Next chapter might start off with Celeste seeing her dead brother. Don't know when it's gonna come out tho.
