The Captain's Second Half (Meliodas)(On Hold)

Celeste stood beside Meliodas and watched outside. "Please wait for us, Diane. We'll find you no matter what it takes." Elizabeth says to herself, looking out the window. "But still, three hundred miles is a lot to cover." Meliodas points out. "Yeah, I'm glad we're moving fast, but... Hey Merlin?" King looks at the crystal ball. "Tell me, is there any way to use teleportation? Cause I'm really worried about Diane." "Unfortunately, for right now, it's all I can do to keep my soul contained in Aldan. Sorry about this, King." Merlin explains. "All right." King frowns, looking down. He then turns to Gowther, who stands off to the side, staring emotionlessly and glares at him.

Aldan flew down, and Merlin's hologram appeared. "Not only that, but I'd like to keep a reserve of my magical power for emergencies." She shares. "What do you mean by that?" King asks her. Merlin holds her hand out, and two maps appear in front of King, Elizabeth, Meliodas, and Celeste, with blinking dots. "In the direction Diane's heading from the ruins of Edinburgh castle along the way, I'm picking up waves of monstrous evil." Merlin explains. King's eyes widen, Meliodas gets serious and Celeste crosses her arms.

Celeste's eyes widen and she runs onto the bar's porch with Meliodas right behind her. "Mama Hawk, hold on for a second!" She shouts. The giant pig comes to an abrupt stop causing Hawk, who was asleep on his mom's head, to slide across, grazing his nose. The Demon and Goddess stood side by side each with different expressions. Meliodas stood with his head down, his bangs covering his face and Celeste stared ahead, furrowing her eyebrows and narrowing her eyes. "Give me a lil warning next time, huh." Hawk tells the Goddess but she pays no attention to him. King flew out after them, confused. "What's going on? Let's get moving." He tells them but gasps and looks in the direction his mother is looking at.

"Woah! I'm sensing three powerful auras." He points out. Meliodas finally lifts his head. "It's two of the Ten Commandments and someone else. I don't know who but they're fighting." He shares. "That someone else being a Giant. Someone who I haven't seen in a long time and thought they were dead." Celeste sighs, crossing her arms and tilting her head slightly. "On the Ten Commandments' side, you have Galand and Monspeet. And on the other side, well you'll just have to find out in the future." The Goddess explains.

Meliodas, Celeste, King, and Slader gasped when they felt someone watching. "Big Sister, could this overpowering murderous intent be..." "Yes, it looks like they've detected our presence as well." Merlin confirms Slader's suspicion. "No way, are you serious? But they're still hundreds of miles away from us, aren't they? Their sense of smell is crazy." Hawk asks, sweating. "Uh, I don't think they detected us by smell, Hawk." Elizabeth tells the pig. "I can't believe he's the one who noticed us." Meliodas says. "It's like he knows it's us." Celeste replies. "A mass of devastating power is heading toward us at top speed." King shares.

"Huh?!" Hawk shouts. Meliodas runs onto the giant pig's snout. "Hawk's mom, change directions and run as fast as you can!" Meliodas instructs the pig. Celeste and Hawk run onto the pig's snout as well. Mama Hawk changes directions and runs at full speed, however, the attack changes courses as well. "The magical power just changed course. It's pursuing us." Slader points out. "Oh, for goddess sake!" Celeste sighs, seeing Hellfire Bird in the distance. "Over there! It's coming!" Hawk shouts, also seeing the flaming bird. "This attack is to see if it's really us out there. If I use Full Counter they'll know for sure I'm alive, also my exact location." Meliodas points out.

"I don't want to, but there's no other way out of this." He grabs his sword's hilt and is about to pull it out when Mama Hawk changes course and heads straight for the bird. "Mom? He said not to go that way!" Hawk shouts at his mother. "Mom!" The pig screams. A tiny magic circle appears on Celeste's palm. She stares at the bird determined. Meliodas grabs the sword again. "Mom, stop!" Hawk shouts at his mother. Celeste was just about to thrust her hand forward, deploying the magic circle to make a shield in front of the pig when Hawk jumped on her. The sudden impact of the pig causes her to stumble into Meliodas, who instinctively wraps her arms around the Goddess.
