Love is Unattainable (for now)

There are many rumors surrounding this prince.

The most feared warrior in history, he was ruthless and terrifying. Even just his name brought shivers to the knees of other Empires, he had more blood on his hands than any other man.

But these were just rumors, who knew if they were true?

Or not...

"Crap-" He said, his cape getting stuck in between the doors of his sleeping quarters. "Why do these things always happen when I'm in a rush?"

He turned around and tried to pull it out, but when he heard a little rip, he decided it was probably not the best thing to do.

He, begrudgingly, opened the door, fixed his cape, then closed the door.

"Why does this armor even have a cape? They do not have capes." He groaned.

"Maybe cause it's not battle armor, little brother." She snickered.

Jason flinched and whipped around, his face red. "Thalia! How long have you been there?"

"Long enough to remember why I bully you." She laughed, then hit him in the back. "Don't worry Jay, we just need to parade around."

"Why do we even need to do this anyway?" He sighed. "I just went there to keep up our alliances."

"Oh brother of mine," Thalia hummed. "You truly are an idiot."

"Thanks." Jason deadpanned.

"No problem, plus, all you have to do and wave and look pretty." She snickered and started to walk.

"Look pretty?" Jason asked, and Thalia shrugged.

She was wearing an armor dress, but it didn't really look all that much different than her usual day-to-day armor.

Still, weird to see her in a dress.

"Please change."

"Do you think I want to be in this?"

"No."

After the informational exchange, they both made their way to a carriage, a driver opening the door for them.

They were to parade around their father's brother's kingdom, The Kingdom of Tides, and made a good appearance.

Waving at civilians, smiling to nobles, all of that stuff.

Eventually, they made it to the end of the parade. They went to Poseidon's castle to rest before returning to the imperial castle.

"Ah, there they are!" King Poseidon's voice bellowed through the castle as Thalia and Jason came into the throne room.

"I almost thought you weren't coming!" Poseidon laughed. "Great job with Aphrodite, by the way, if I went there she would have gone crazy!"

He laughed again, and the two children of Zeus chuckled, Jason having a drop of sweat dripping down his cheek.

"Seriously though, I don't see why." He put a hand on his chin.

"I could think of a few," Thalia whispered as she eyed the King's...questionable choice of wearing beige pants with a floral shirt and cape.

"It's good to see you again, Uncle." Jason smiled, ignoring Thalia's complaints about her eyes burning.

"Yes, yes," Poseidon smiled back. "Well, enough with the greetings, Percy should be in his quarters."
