Summary:

George Davidson was involved in a car accident July 12th 2019. The accident caused George's life to change and Dream was always by his side to reassure him that everything will be okay. The issue is that Dream knows his time with George is coming to an end.
Or maybe already was..

I DIDNT CRY WHILE WRITING THIS U DID NOT ME NOOO NEVERRRR (*Grabs another tissue*)

The dusty atmosphere enclosed inside the fairly large house. Boxes with dust on top of them; some boxes labeled 'give away', 'furniture', 'etc.'. The boxes had been there for a few weeks now; none had moved a single inch.

"I don't enjoy walking around this empty house." George says sitting on the unswept floor of the living room, "It's where I grew up, I'm not ready to leave."

Dream looked down at George who was playing with his hands and noticed George looked like he was about to cry. He knelt down and held out his hand for George.

"Hold my hand, I'll walk with you every step of the way and make you feel at comfort once again." Dream simply said while George placed his hand inside of Dreams.

Dream put his other arm under George's and carefully lifted him up. After George's car accident, George had a large and deep cut that went down the side of this right leg. Not wanting to have it removed, George decided to keep it even though he physically couldn't move it. Training couldn't even be an option, but of course George didn't know that.

"You'll be able to walk in no time at all George! You've been doing so great. I'm just making sure you are stable and okay." Dream said after successfully getting George off the ground and getting George up on his two feet strapped around his shoulder, "We should be headed to bed. In the morning we have to start putting things into the car; well, I have to."

"I can help you know." George spoke which raised a gloomy smile on Dreams face.

Dream could never come to tell George everything the doctors had told him when he was sitting by his bestfriends hospital bed watching him hang onto life by a thread. The accident consisted of three people; no one Dream knew. The car was destroyed, mostly on the passengers side which is where George was at. The crash wasn't their fault; George likes to believe it was all his fault. He believed if he wasn't acting a fool, then maybe the driver could have maybe recognized the other driver. Turns out the other driver was highly on drugs, all out of it. That persons car was also ruined and sadly that person lost their life in the accident. No one lost their life in the car George was in; George was the only one who suffered major injuries. Of course George didn't deserve it; that's all Dream thought, 'Why George?'. Although he may never know that answer, he was pleased he still had time to spend with George and he didn't lose his life right then and there.

"Alright, alright... come on, let's get you into bed. Maybe you can help me tomorrow, you still aren't fully recovered." Dream replied to George's request to help.

Dream carried George up the stairs in a playful manner to try and at ease George's mind from the horrors and tragic injuries George had to face alone.

"Thank you." George said with a small smile on his face as Dream sets him down on the left side of the bed and then slips in beside George.

"You need to take these George." Dream nodded while handing George three big pills with a glass of water that was on the night stand beside Dream.

George gave Dream a frown and a pouty lip.

"I know... just take them for me please. Soon you will never have to take them again! You'll be good as new!" Dream chanted while ruffling George's hair after George took the medication and drink out of Dreams hand.
