Act 1: Forest of Memory

This story from this point forward will be split into multiple acts, each focusing on the nations that the story will be centered on. This will usually be posted alongside the final chapter of the previous act to ensure a smooth transition into the next nation. For this page, i'll explain the world that will be the main setting of the story alongside its first "nation" called the Forest of Memory.

Altus:

Altus is a world separate to Earth and Equestria, in which is resided by mainly humans and other creatures such as elves and dragons. Altus is a shortened word for "alternative universe", since this plays by its own rules, different than that to Earth. There is no time difference, so one could leave for Altus and return, only for them to still be present at the moment.

The world is split into four nations (in a particular order): Cybokyo, Sobran, Irdiel, and Augistue. If you play open world games then you'll know each nation has its own theme, which will be mentioned later in future Acts.

These four nations are connected to the paths. This is the only safest way to traverse through different nations (there are other ways to travel too, but the paths is the most safest and heavily guarded)

Forest of Memory

The Forest of Memory is a territorial area where it is not occupied by any nation. It is carefully overlooked by The Overseer and Princess of the Forest, with two guards protecting her and the area. It is separated into two sections, the forest itself and the actual Forest of Memory.

The Forest of Memory, when entered, is a crystal cloud garden full of memories of the people entering the forest. But to a normal person who does not know how to enter, it is only just a mere forest with green trees and wildlife scurrying around. Those who enter see memories of their past, but cannot see other peoples' memories when entering with multiple people. Memories include both good and bad, from the beginning of their childhood to the memories long forgotten, and up to their current memories that they remember. To get there, however, is extremely hard, as there is a secret piston one must push in a vast forest, before entering into the Forest of Memory, which is a set of stairs leading up to the clouds, where they would be passing through an invisible barrier to avoid those breaking and entering into the Forest. But to exit, one must take a slide down to the ground level of the forest. Once out of the slide, they cannot re-enter until next month, meaning that they must choose wisely on when to enter...
